en un primer momento pense que era un ensamble de voces..o sea que a la imagen le habian puesto el sonido de otro coro.. dsp mirando las bocas y el desarrollo de la obra ( la conozco) me di cuenta que el coro cantaba de verdad.. ES EXCELENTE.. MEJOR QUE OTROS GRANDES COROS... AL NIVEL DE LOS MEJORES DEL MUNDO... TODAVIA ESTOY IMPRESIONADO.. FELICIDADES

an absolutely amazing job, my only concern is when the sopranos come in it is suppose to be A "p" and SOTTO VOCCE

not the case in this performance or at least as much as it could be, other than that, great job, and the lower voices, job well done

Yeah, this is impressive, I wouldn't have know this was a high school choir. Yes, the 'vocca me' part should have been sung alone and I think the lower voices should be louder, but I think its the recordings fault, not the singers(who are very good).

I'm sorry but this video undermines the genious of Mozart. The choir is not good(The male voices are too weak) but I would say that the Orchestra is even worse. This peace has to be dramatic but in this case it sounds more like a song on a freakin beer festival in Europe....

Outstanding!!! People, know that this is a High School Choir full of teenagers!!! Can you believe this beautiful sound coming from such young people?! There are adult choirs and yes, professional choirs that do not sound this good! I presume that LAHS Los Altos is in California. If so, then the City of Angels is doing a great job in promoting the arts in it's schools. Thank you very much!!! Fabulous job, ladies and gentlemen!

The singing itself is great, but needs more feeling and more dynamics. There's more to it than just signing notes. They ignore the "sotto voce" in the alto/soprano sections... very important for this heavily contrasting section of the Requiem and cannot be overlooked. Constructive criticism.

This is tragic! Why would a high school be allowed to sing this music?!?!?! The tenors are weak, the girls are too wild!!! It's bad!!! I can understand the mindset of high schoolers wanting to impress by singing loud but it's ghetto!

That rendition is great, but I prefer John Eliot Gardiner's performance from 1991 (with soprano Barbara Bonney, from the good ol' USA, my home country).

A bit more explanation -- the female parts on this through the first section are marked sotto voce -- you should barely be able to hear the girls at all!
