  • How can anyone listen to this fat sorry bag of yesterday’s shit? He is an evil prick and should croak! But what to do with the corpse? You can’t dig a big enough hole, and if you try to cremate him, the combination of gas, oxycontin, and oil would blow up the oven. Just roll him onto a beach and leave him to rot with the other beached whales.

  • why hasnt oxycontins and obesity killed this moron yet

  • disagreeing with someones policies is not "hoping that they fail". once again Rush lies and misrepresents the facts. he openly says he wants the President to fail. you can call Rush on these kinds of lies everyday of the week and be consistent. the only thing he shows any degree of integrity in is drug use and buying dominican hookers.

  • @taillebasse1

OK, that "anyone" would include 80% of the democrats in congress who had umteen petty hearings against Bush, his attorney generals (Ashcroft and Gonzales), secretary of defense (Rumsfeld), chairman of the joint chiefs of staff (Honorable Peter Pace), etc. I think they literally lusted for failure. Your statement about "traitors" really hits the nail on the head and wipes out much of congress. Thank you!

  • Somebody, dunk Rush in a cauldron of boiling oil please. Then we can feast on fresh pork rinds.

  • I WANT RUSH AS PRESEDENT FOR 2012! LIBERALS SUCK!!! USE UR FREEDOM OF SPEECH PPL, WE R LUCKY TO HAVE IT!!!!!!!

  • who are the people cheering for this idiot?

  • Calm down there Rush. Don't you support torture? Oh, yes you do. Isn't that unconstitutional? Oh, Fuck yes it is. Individual rights don't mean a thing to you so I don't think you have much room to talk. I think about the only conservative who can honestly hit on Obama about Individual freedoms/rights is Ron Paul.

  • @ProRanting Actually, Rush does not support Torture, Water Boarding IS NOT TORTURE. Also, Right now, guess who else is using the word Failure in context of Obama, the LIBERAL MEDIA. Obama is a FAILURE, and this country is still standing.

  • @usam1981 I do not like Barack Obama and never said I did. And the only person who doesn't think Waterboarding is torture is brainwashed Neo-Con's and Dick Cheney who was too cowardly to serve his country and too cowardly to undergo waterboarding. Anyone who has went through waterboarding admits it's torture. Even ultra Conservatives. If anything I'm a libertarian and I didn't vote for Barack Obama. Grow up and get your finger out of Limbaugh's ass. What do you need a new dad? Think for yourself

  • @ProRanting Tell that to the Soldiers who they demonstrated it to, and they will laugh in your face, tell that to people who actually torture people in other countries, and they will call you a wimp. You are a coward, and you have no right to tell me anything about Limbaugh, because he sounds WAY smarter than your last comment. No one but Left wing nut Jobs call it torture, and if you think Ron Paul is a good person, you are an idiot like he is.

  • @usam1981 Lol, alright Pal! You've efficently proven my point that people who listen to Rush Limbaugh are morons of the highest caliber. For that I can only say one thing. Thanks.

  • @ProRanting And you proved my point that Liberals who Spout BS about Rush, with out even listening to him are Morons. Why don't you actually listen to Rush, and not to what the Liberals say about him, or 5 second sound bites. If you did, you would realise what you are told to believe about him is wrong, and he is smarter than all the Liberals in the US combined, which would not take much anyways. What has a million legs, and a combined IQ less than their average shoe size, the Democrat party.

  • @usam1981 Well aren't you clever!! Knee Slapper! What a doozey! Trust me (Judging from that last "joke" of yours) there isn't a clever bone in your body. And I've heard enough from that Pill Popping heart attack on legs. I love that your talking to me about intelligence when you can't even spell a simple word like realize. "Realise"

You've never finished High School have you? It's not the Democrat party smartass it's the Democratic Party. Lol Your a joke man. Thanks once again!

  • Comment removed

  • @ProRanting You Idiots still show your intelligence by how little you know about Rush. I think the only pill popper is you and Your entire party, after all, they keep on calling themselves the DEMOCRATIC party, when they are not even close to a Democracy, and neither is this country, might I add. I graduated from High school, but from the way you act, I bet you did not make it past the fifth grade. You and your entire party are one BIG joke, and the punch line will be in 2012.

  • @usam1981 I love Rush"

You get your information from a drug addicted sex-tourist? Wow, no wonder you have no idea what the hell is going on.

  • @smackrightdown And you Love Obama. You get your information from a bunch of Pill popping Hippies. Wow, no wonder you have no concept of Reality, or economics. Get over yourself. Rush has more intelligence in his little finger than you have in your entire body, and more accuracy than every Liberal media sourse you can Parrot.

  • @usam1981 You get your information from a bunch of Pill popping Hippies."

Oh! I didn't know that NPR was arrested with hundreds of oxy pills. Or that anyone from NPR was stopped at the border with an incorrectly labeled bottle of viagra while trying to enter a known sex tourist country.

    They weren't. But Rush-bo was.

The fact you think he is more accurate than NPR proves what a complete and utter fool you are. so long fuckwit

  • @smackrightdown One, Rush was not arrested for pills, you idiot. NPR has been proven to be corrupt, and is currently close to going out of business, good riddance if you ask me, and has been proven to be as Useless as all of the other Liberal Media sourses out there. Using the Nazi Public Radio as a sourse shows your Stupidity.

  • @usam1981 Rush was not arrested for pills"

    cbsnews. com/stories/2006/04/28/ national/main1561324. shtml

He was also detained going to the dominican republic with a bottle of viagra that he put in a different pill bottle. You know, the dominican republic which is famous for sex tourism.

Your hero is a degenerate drug addict/sex tourist. Also, his deafness is a well-known side-effect of long term oxy abuse.

  • @smackrightdown Congradulations, you get your information from CBS, and you call me stupid, the commnunist Broadcasting Company is the worst place to get information on any Republican, because they never get their fact streight. Oh, and if you want to go on about drugs, don't forget that Clinton said he NEVER inhailed, if you believe that one about him, you are an idiot. Rush has been through Rehab, but which I would recomend for you, or at least a good shock threapy.

  • @usam1981

Refute these facts from the story:

Prosecutors accused Limbaugh of "doctor shopping," or illegally deceiving multiple doctors to receive overlapping prescriptions, after learning that he received about 2,000 painkillers, prescribed by four doctors in six months.

As a primary condition of the dismissal, Limbaugh must continue to seek treatment. Among other provisions, he also has agreed to pay the state $30,000

research shows that abusing oxy can cause severe hearing loss.

  • @usam1981

The fact that you believe the drug-addled ramblings of a sex tourist over the well-respected journalists at PBS and NPR says everything about what an extremist you are. have a great time on the fringe of our society.

Oh! and I'm sure you've watched the iraq war documentary I posted. Can you actually name any misinformation in that documentary or are you too busy plugging your ears and closing your eyes to support your bullshit worldview?

  • @usam1981 NPR is going out of business

    HA!!!!! YOU'RE A SUPREME RETARD.

  • @smackrightdown Yeah, the entire thing is misinformation, so I don't have to name one part. When your president BOMBS a country, you have no right to call my worldview bullshit. Bush Never went that far. Also, PBS and NPR are not highly respected, they both hardly get good ratings ON A GOOD DAY. I don't know where you are getting your information, on both those stations, and on Rush, but you have really got to get your head checked.

  • @usam1981 he entire thing is misinformation, so I don't have to name one part.

HA! I knew this would expose you as the extremist you are. Well, it's official, I'll do nothing more than laugh at you and mock your idiocy as you're clearly a child-mind who prefers to live in a vacuum instead of actually find out what is going on in the world.

Have fun worshipping your drug-addled sex tourist. The adults will continue on without you.

  • @usam1981 Nazi Public Radio

Please list the 'liberal media'. Also I'd love a list of the 'media'.

This is going to be hilarious. You're my new favorite Dittohead.

  • @usam1981 every Liberal media sourse

You misspelled 'source'. Wow, you're packing some weapons-grade stupid in your head. The fact that you get your information from a drug-addled racist, sex-tourist and actually think that SOURCE is more-credible than PBS, proves without a doubt that you are an extremist. Have fun on the fringe of our society. So long, Dittohead.

  • @smackrightdown Yeah, any sousce is more credable than PBS, after all, the Republican's never faked up a story to discredit a president during an election. Also, don't talk about my spelling when your Grammar is terrible. "Some weapons-grade stupid in your head." If your english teacher could read that, she would have a fit. From now on every time you bring up my spelling, I will show you where you screwed up.

  • See what he's saying he doesn't want him to pass his stuff cause he doesn't like it but still bot kind

  • All partisan bickering aside, I don't want any President to fail - I see it as America failing.

  • @gotama420 So the small minority rules huh? That just doesn't cut it as far as I'm concerned!

  • @gotama420 Spending isn't the answer because it doesn't add value to the economy. The private sector is actually the answer here because it DOES add value to the economy. In the last 2 years gov has spent almost $3 trillion and you can see the results.

  • @gotama420 Have you delved into it?

  • @gotama420 "the plight of americans of african descent". When will the victimhood mantality end?! At this point there is no plight, and any displayed racism is strictly punished! The fact is that people who take personal responsibility and who work hard can make it regardless of skin color. Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice, even Obama are proof of that!

  • @gotama420 What people are tired of is a gov which has governed against the will of the people of the US. That's why Congress has such a low approval rating. Repubs have been given another chance, but with a warning not to govern the way Obama, and previous Congress's have! As to the economy, Infrastructure was attempted during the Great Depression. It didn't work. It won't now. What WILL work is the unleashing of the Private Sector. In short, the American people, not the Gov!!

  • @gotama420 So you don't like Obama huh? I've heard some say he just isn't left enough for them, but you're mistake if you think he's ever caved to the right. In fact, he's stated that Repubs should go along with him! He's made sure to pass as many bills as he can WITHOUT Repubs votes! I wonder if you feel the same way about comments made about Bush during his 2 terms?!

  • @gotama420 Spoken like a person who doesn't even listen to the show. That comment has been explained on more than one occasion!

  • Taken out of context much? This is always being taken out of context, rush doesn't want obama to change us to a socialistic style gov... and hopes that if obama is to do that he wants him to fail. I'm sorry...what is wrong with that???

  • @gotama420 thats a civilised way of speaking to your fellow man... i thought liberals were the common sense majority, the ones who WERENT unruly, who werent name callers, and who werent bigots? and yet... you call him a rotten pig racist fuck? seems very unruly to me... lets focus on issues shall we? oh yeah and i smoke weed too. just not a neophyte democrat like yourself

  • @gotama420 wow you just spoke about yourself... lol thats one of the funniest things ive ever read.... it should be the stupider a person is the more likely they will beleive a LIBERAL. thats more like it lol wow....

  • @gotama420 if hed be in jail, than what would harry reid be in? he states that the democrats wanted bush to fail...why is it any different that the conservs want obama (socialism) to fail? answer me that and i bet you cant. or you will come up with a completley skewed and false answer. but give it a shot at least.

  • @gotama420 I agree. The same BS coming out of Rush, Beck & the tea baggers is the same white water lies that came up against Clinton which were later found to be false. Why are US people so paranoid of anything remotely left of their far right spectrum?

  • @robinhood2be people are scared of SOCIALISM, they are scared of american liberties being destroyed, they are afriad of our constitution being spit on by liberals like yourself, who feel the need to re-write history. America is the greatest nation in history because of the constitution, how do you think we got where we are today? not because of socialism. look at where that got russia, germany, greece, etc.. do you really think it will work here? get out of the country before you destroy us.

  • @elementswi2007 As sated before I'm not Socialist, Conservative or Liberal. I'm a realist.US fear what they don't know calling things Socialist.I think with your growing population people are getting lost in the cracks of your current system. However I think Obama has not costed it well and should rethink its costing. It's strange if you think nationalizing health is Socialism then privatize your military, police, Veterans affairs etc. Or is it healing people is less important then killing them?

  • @gotama420 He would ask Obama over for a beer. Correction, the elitsts would insist on the very best champagne.

  • @gotama420 With all respect, have you even delved into Obama's policies? There's never BEEN a more liberal left winger in office!!!

  • Quite honestly I believe that every president wants to do their best for the country simply because I believe no one wants to go in history as the man who screwed up the world.

That being said, who says that Obama is after capitalism when he keeps conforming to conservatives and weakening his bills. The Health care bill? It go downgraded so much that it's practically useless. Insurance companies in California jacked up their fees simply because they can.

  • @gotama420 Obama. Center right?! Not a chance pal!!!!

  • Wow, look at this disgusting, draft dodging, ass scist, college drop out, rich boy, got a job from his daddy fatass!

  • Fat whore abuser.

  • I was actually in the front row wearing my bright pink Che Guevara T-shirt.

  • He's porky pig's distant cousin!

  • funny how a prez had to single out ONE PERSON in the media. why would the prez isolate ONE MAN?

  • Who the fuck is that fat ass pansy

  • @MOLOTOV0077 Very unintelligent post, because this isn't a matter of his weight or his personal life. Yes, he is overweight, but it's rather obvious.

Just as it's obvious you're an uneducated, rude, obnoxious, and immature YouTuber. ;)

  • left right= same result

  • This guy got NO education, NO intellect, Yet he is cheered on by the blind faithful.

  • @mittalsteel1 No doubt. I don't understand how he got elected president.

  • @shananagans5 U rather have McCAin huh? Or better yet Sarah Palin? Lol!!!!

  • @jrello22 Anyone that is not into "collective salvation" would do just fine.

  • I really just do not like this guy with his anti American rants. He looks like the type of guy you will see on Jerry Springer. I cant believe that some people out there take Rush seriously.

  • LoneLawMan I hear you! Even Carter got upset at an article which compared him to Obama. He wrote them a letter expressing his displeasure at thier comparisons! If Carter is distancing himself from Obama, the libs are REALLY in trouble!

  • I've seen the whole of his speech with the racist joke and all. It makes me wonder...Would he be so critical if obama was white?

  • Yes trins09 it would because Obama's skin color is irrelevant. What IS relevant is his policies, and that's what we oppose!

  • What joke is that, and at what time during the speech? Yes he would be critical! Did you listen to him during the Clinton presidency? Did you listen to him when Bush signed bills written by liberals? Did you listen to him when Repubs sided with Dems during the Bush years? The vast majority of them were white my friend, and he was critical of them all! What matters to Rush, and many others is Obama's policies, not his skin color. BTW Rush has had many good things to say about Clarence Thomas.....

  • ...and Condi Rice! Would a racist do such a thing?! Delve into this more trins09. Don't just believe what his enemies say about him. Look into it deeply. Listen to him for one month, and you'll see the actual truth!

  • @trins09 Uh.....Yea, he would be. The main thing he is against is stupidity.

  • I see his point, but he's still an arrogant asshole.

  • i just love they way these obama haters try to hide their racism behind a thin veil of supposed concern for out country

  • niggitynignig So let me get this straight. If we disagree with Obama, we're racist?! Are you nuts?! You bet we have concern for our country, but not because of skin color. It's a matter of policy. If Obama had white skin I would STILL oppose what he is doing. Sorry pal, no racism here!!

  • Ithom33 have you given up? If so, too bad. You have taught me much about liberal philosophy. At some point I hope you will accept the truth about the world. Until then, you are living in a fog. Until that fog clears, you will never understand what the truth is! Take care of yourself!

  • whatever

  • niggnitynignig Whatever? Is that all you can say?! You have the gall to call so many racist, but can't even defend your view? Look, I could care less what Obama's skin color is. I DO care about what he believes, and what he wants to do to our nation. Millions also feel the same way. It IS concern for our nation, but hatred for a person due to skin color is sick, and is something the vast majority want no part of! Think on it!

  • yeah whatever

  • niggitynignig Pathetic! Truely pathetic! Is this all you can say? If so, try not to casually accuse hard working Americans of racism if all you have to back it up is "whatever"!

  • Ithom33 4 days and still nothing. As I said before, I hope all is well. Take care!

  • Ithom33 still nothing huh? I hope all is well. Take care!

  • Ithom33 Wow! The whole weekend! Are you busy? Oh well, I'll cheak in again! Later! :)

  • God Bless You Rush! Thanks for always speeking the truth no matter what they say or try to do to you.

  • BJStheContractor It's not often that there is a Rush supporter on this page. It's a breath of fresh air! Nicely put! Rush doesn't back down! Not even one inch! That is something to admire! Take it easy!

  • Ithom33 It's Saturday! I Love Saturdays!! Still no posts today? Oh well, perhaps next time. Later! :)

  • Not here tonight Ithom33? Bummer! I look forward to your posts! I'll be sure to cheak in on Sat. Until then, take care of yourself, and have a good night!

  • "FamousPicturesMagazine

Donald Rumsfeld Shakes Hands With Saddam Hussein"

Oil Exec & Bush' Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, did multi-million dollar oil deals w/Hussein like the rest of them in the 80s. So, when did Hussein become evil to the Bush Regime? When they became greedy & wanted all the oil? Well, they got it and became rich, and we're still controlling the oil. Facts are facts.

  • I don't know if there is anyone else reading the comments by Ithom33 and myself, but I hope you are gaining a better understanding of the difference between Liberals and Conservatives. Ithom33 once posted that he has no faith in his fellow Americans. I, on the other hand, believe that Americans are generally a great people. I have faith that they can turn things around if unleashed! I believe in free enterprise, limited gov, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong.........

  • ...national defense. I hold a strong faith in the God who helped forge this great nation. And dispite recent problems, I STILL believe things can turn around. We the people of the United States need to take our country back from those that would change it to something the Founders never intended. For those of you out there who may be reading, I hope you will support what has made America great, and NEVER LET IT GO!!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!

  • @USSJ3 I have no faith in Americans who don't watch "real" news and vote to better this country and its people. The Republicans have made us a morally bankrupted country.

You allow the Bush Regime to force wars upon us, to wreck our economy, to raise historical colossal national debt & deficit -then use baseless attacks against Obama, who is trying to fix it -to make this country better than it has been for the past 8 yrs. Again, I don't get it.

  • Ithom33 You could not be more wrong! "Real news"? You mean from left leaning organizations? Morally bankrupted? Baseless! the American people are far better than you give them credit for! You are in no position to cast blame. Dems and Repubs voted for those wars! The economy was due to gov interference from BOTH parties. Obama's debt is putting Bush's to shame! He will have made it as large in two years as it took Bush to do in eight! Obama doesn't know how to fix this country! In fact many.....

  • ...in gov don't know how to either. Bush does share some of the blame, but so does Congress, and so does Obama. Dems and Repubs voted for the laws which brought us to where we are now. They have mismanaged for years, and now they claim if they have more power, and make more laws it will all be fixed! History has shown that the private sector can do a far better job than gov can. How hard is that to grasp!? I know you don't get it because you place you faith in gov, and not the people! How sad!

  • right on rush.

  • PUKE!

  • Rush Limbaugh doesn't care about conservatives or democrats. All he cares about is whats on his DINNER MENU!

  • For some reason rush believes that any us leader who fails is a good thing?? Maybe he should move. What good will failure do the country?? Although when you live in a glass house like this clown failure doesn't matter. Start talking sense when you can remember what it's like to be an average hard working citizen again, otherwise shut the hell up.

  • you completely missed the point

  • well i don't want to argue anymore and my final statement will be the instead of hoping the worst for your president, hope the best okay.

  • why do all you people hate obama, he's trying to save this country from the f@#$ing crap Bush did to it. If you would just think about it, Reagen did pretty much the same thing and it worked and he turned out to be one of the freaking gretest presidents of all time!!!!!

  • I disagree. During his 2nd term Reagan had a 10% unemployment and a huge deficit/national debt. He and Bush should have been throw in prison for the Iran Contra Affair. His entire cabinet was either fired, put in prison or forced to resign. Also he started the trickle down theory which hurt the middle-class, as always, and also placed the economy in chaos. Republicans can create colossal messes but they don't know how to clean them up!

  • the economy was amazing when he was president and he helped defeat one of our greatest enemies, the USSR.

  • Yes, there was a boom in the mid-1980s, as the economy recovered from a severe recession. But while the rich got much richer, there was little sustained economic improvement for most Americans -the poverty rate rose. Reaganomics has just failed all over again w/Bush. Exalted private gain over public obligation, special interests over the common good, wealth & fame over work and family. Republicans in general ushered in the age of greed &selfishness, irresponsibility& excess-neglect. HISTORY

  • No, Reagan did not defeat Russia. That is a Republican mouth piece. History tells us that the changes Gorbochev wrought in the Soviet Union, from ending much of the official censorship to sweeping political and economic reforms, were undertaken not because of any foreign pressure or concern, but because Russia was "dying under the weight of the Stalinist system." That is history -the facts.

  • Comment removed

  • SEMPfilms - if he's trying to save this country, then why is he raising taxes, introducing a mandatory health care plan, and lying about having every debate on CSPAN? Did you know that the health care bullshit that he is introducing and trying to put into law is Unconstitutional? If he was trying to help this country, he would go by the Constitution, and not by his communist instincts.

  • Reagen raised taxes and the country turned out fine.

  • @SEMPfilms - he did it to help, there's a difference.

  • I lived through that era SEMPfilms, and he actually LOWERED taxes. By the time they all took effect in about 1988 the unemployment rate went down. Still, Reagan isn't in power, Obama is, and his philosophy is the exact opposite of Reagan's! kseadam8907 is right. Obama may or may not have good intentions, but that isn't enough on it's own. He holds to beleifs which are socialist, and where such beleifs are practiced, the general population suffers under a kind of tyranny. We should fight it!!!!!

  • @USSJ3 that' not true! You guys are so annoying. Obama is a capitalist but he believes that every American should have affordable and quality health insurance. More Americans support him than not. THIS was a pledge he made to the American people and it' happening. Who wants to fight what' right? Not me.

  • Ithom33 Obama believes in wealth redistribution, and gov control of private sector business! That's not capitalist! Obama says the bill will give everyone insurance, but that isn't true! 12 million will still not be covered! The bill costs at least 1 trillion dollars, yet they claim it will lower costs? Name one gov program that EVER lowered costs! Medicare? NO! Medicade? NO! Soc. Security? NO! They've never saved money! Why believe them now?! BTW most don't support this bill! 61% at last count!

  • The Republicans believe in middle-class and working poor wealth redistribution but when they have to pay the same taxation as we do it' all the sudden unfair or wrong? I don't think so. Also Bush has no regulation in the private financial sector until it collapses and then he bails them out. Because of his incompetence we now own worthless stocks. Health care bill is less than $900B for the next 10 yrs. Where are you getting your info??

  • Ithom33 WHERE DO I BEGIN!?!?!?! Overtaxation is wrong no matter WHO is paying! Yes, Bush screwed up! But the dirty little secret is that the bailouts were only SIGNED by Bush. The bill was passed by the Democrat Congress before it even got to Bush's desk! Among those who voted for that bill was a senator by the name of Barack Obama. If you can be angry with Bush, then you should also be angry with Obama and the rest of Congress!! Do you actually think the bill will only cost 900 billion?...

  • ...It seems you lack a clear grasp of the history of gov programs, particularly that of Soc. Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. The total cost of these programs (including all entitlement programs) including liabilities, commitments, and contingencies is about 53 trillion! That's about $175000 for every man, woman, and child in the US! Medicare alone has an unfunded obligation of more than 36 trillion! By 2030, it will consume 11% of our economy! Soc. Security will consume 6%! Even now,......

  • ...Medicaid consumes on average more than 21% of total state spending! Each of these programs has been active for years! How much money did those programs save?! In fact, as time goes on they expand and grow! That's how gov always works!! Why will it be any different with the health bill when gov's track record proves that they don't lower costs!? Don't be fooled! This bill is just a foot in the door. It will cost more than they estimate, and then they will expand it and so increase costs to....

  • ...the tax payer, just like all the others have! Your trust in them is unfounded Ithom33! No one argues that reform is needed, but THIS is not the way to do it!

  • Also as it is the pharmaceuticals and wealthy medical corporations are calling all the shots. They are placing premiums on Americans at any amount they want. For some it costs over $12K a year. With government competition they will be forced to reduce their premiums or lose customers. It' that simple. This will place money back into American pockets.

  • But your claims fly in the face of history Ithom33! What you claim is simply not possible given gov's track record with similar programs! They can't have such a law without tax increases which will make health care more, not less, expensive! They can't do this without rationing care! Don't you know that Medicare denys more claims than insurance companies?! As to competition. Gov doesn't need to make a profit to survive. If they get involved, they will eventually eleminate private health care...

  • ...making gov the sole provider. No nation with such a system has quality health care! If they want competition so badly they could get rid of laws forcing us to buy within state lines. This would force insurance companies to compete with each other without the need of a gov take over! What you seem to advocate is giving bureaucrats unprecidented power over health care when they have no knowledge of the industry, and no real means to provide all they promise. Just look Canada and the UK........

  • ....both of whom have universal coverage like what you advocate. Those two systems are disasters! Long waiting periods, rationed care, refusing treatment to people who smoke, or who are considered too obese. There was a man who felt pain in his abdoman. He went to the hospital, but they refused to treat him because he forgot his health card. He went home to retrieve, and died before he could get back. His apendix has exploded. The hospital was unsympathetic saying they were just following......

  • ...the rules. In systems like this, the patient is secondary to the bureaucratic system. That is where the current bill will lead this country. Gov is unqualified to provide affordable and quality care. The proof is in the numbers I showed you before! They've NEVER lowered costs! EVER! AND they don't provide quality care in exisiting programs!!! Do you really think they will change NOW?!

  • I am not going to argue with you about universal health care. There is no excuse why every American should not have affordable and quality insurance. The Republicans have the best insurance in the world and guess who pays for it? Us! Yet, they do not want the very people, who pay their insurance, to have the same benefits. Let' keep it real. We all know the Reps only care about the wealthy

  • I don't agree with the laws that force Americans to purchase from 1 insurance company. However having competition is good economically, because it forces greedy CEOs to bring down their premiums and Americans can put that money back into the economy.

  • The Health care reform would save us trillions! It' time not only for every American to have affordable and quality health care but also to have a program that works and will bring our debts down.

  • Who is being overtaxed? We've been paying 25% to 30% while the 5% wealthy pay 17% and less. I mean, look at the numbers. The bailout was designed by Paulson who just happens to be the ex CEO of Gordon Sachs. It was clear that Dems did not want to bail them out and they argued publicly with Reps. I watched it on t.v. The Dems just took Congress and were faced with all the colossal messes of the Republicans. Therefore they can't be blamed. The original health care reform was $900b over 10 yrs, yes

  • All Americans are currently overtaxed Ithom33. It's funny how you yell about the bailouts, but fail to pass any blame on those who voted for it. The Dem controlled Congress passed the bill you hate so much! So, yes they CAN be blamed! As to the wealthy. I'm not sure where you get 17%. I understand that the rich pay at least a 55% tax on all their earnings. This is before paying workers, insurance, production cost, etc. The wealthy are severly taxed. Still, ALL Americans are paying too much!!!!!

  • What' amusing is how you state the Dems controlled Congress when the Bill was passed, yet fail to mention it was a Rep Congress & President who allowed no regulation in the system for 8 yrs. Without their incompetence a bailout would never had been necessary. Warren Buffett stated that taxes were too low on the wealthy. To prove it he did a survey in his own office & found that his tax rate was below that of many of his employees. They received 2 HUGE tax cuts/taking credits not entitled to!

  • For example the wealthy shipped jobs overseas in which Bush actively supported tax breaks that rewarded companies more for shipping jobs overseas than for creating them here in the US. Obviously this hurt employment and put a burden on the middle-class while they just made more billions.

  • Well Ithom33. It's clear you have much to learn about history, and about gov. Where is the proof that regulating an industry makes it better? For instance when you delve into how they've regulated soc security, medicare, and caid can you REALLY say they've done well? The numbers don't agree, and we have to pay the bill for THIER incompetence! Our health care system has been around far longer than the last 8 years, and only NOW do we need universal coverage?! When 85% of Americans say they are...

  • ...satisfied with thier coverage does that tell you anything? Do you honestly think so many are stupid, but YOU have such wisdom? The fact is that every nation that has a universal system does not have affordable and quality coverage. Canada and the UK are perfect examples, yet, you ignore this and spew hatred toward gov officials who have far better care. I notice you only mentioned Repubs having it, but that is a lie. All Dems have it to. Where's your outrage at them? You don't understand.....

  • ...that this bill will incur massive costs, and the one's who will have to foot the bill, will be the people. There's no evidence of any kind that the bill will save even one penny. Yet, many people accept what gov tells them and never look into the details. For instance, we will pay taxes on this coverage for three years before benefits take effect. You call that fair? And why are we not allowed to read it as Obama promised during his campaign? Is there something there they don't wish us to....

  • ...see? If this bill is so great for America why do more than 60% oppose it? Look, no one says reform isn't needed, but giving gov control of the system will do the opposite of what you are seeking. The systems of other nations make this fact undeniable! As to the wealthy. I would be interested in reading the story you cited. Where did you find it? Still, numbers don't agree with your assumptions. Let's look at the oil industry for example. From 1977-2004 made 630 billion after taxes........

  • ..., paid 518 billion in state and federal taxes, and 1.34 trillion in excise fuel taxes. How can you claim that the wealthy don't pat enough when you look at numbers like these? Gov has been the REAL profiteer here, and that's the way it is with anyone who make money. If a person earns 1 million, he only gets 450,000. Who's making more money there? As to competition. We already have around 13 companies. One more won't make the difference. There is a better solution!

  • You forget that the wealthy receive 2 tax cuts. They also took tax credits while shipping American jobs overseas. The real profiteers has been the Bush Regime and the Republican Congress. Cheney was the seated CEO of Haliburton & they rec'd no-contract bids which is illegal. In the past government contractors have rec'd these jobs. SHAMEFUL..There are a lot of people who have become very wealthy from the blood of our troops and innocent people. This burns me up!

  • Are you one of those who think the war was about oil profits? Yes they got tax cuts, as did Americans in general. I don't know why libs hate it when the rich make money. The rich are the ones who use that money to make better products, and the expand. When they do, they hire. Where do you think jobs come from? We live in a society that hates the rich, and wants them punished! But when they are employment goes down. Companies wouldn't need to go overseas if gov regulation and taxation was relaxed

  • Sure it was over oil. We were attacked on 9/11 by 18 criminals -15 were Saudis. So why attack an innocent country? It was immoral and illegal because they neither threatened us or attacked us. Our first orders were to secure the oil not the civilians. I am a capitalist but I believe everyone should be taxed equally. Not one class should be burdened. Companies have been going overseas for sometime now but it' Bush who allowed them huge tax cuts and to get away w/credits they're not entitled to

  • all your insecure term papers were spammed

don't you hate that when some right winger does that to a libtard virgin faggot troller....

  • Obama pledged health care reform on the campaign trail. Also polls in June '09 found that most Americans would be willing to pay higher taxes so everyone could have health insurance and that they said the government could do a better job of holding down health-care costs than the private sector. You want info on Wealth and taxation? Let me know and I will send some to you.

  • Ithom33 I already posted about your info, so by all means send it! Maybe that was true in 09, but that isn't true now. Many are angry about this bill, and quite frankly I've never read such a poll. Still, the majority 61% at last count are not infavor of it now. I've shown you the numbers proving gov can't do a better job. it's more than personal opinion that matters. One must have facts to back up such claims. Can you cite where it is proven gov does a better job?

  • We are not socialists but we are a welfare state. We're capitalists. Competition is always good for the consumer while monopoly is not. We have a monopoly which the Federal Trade Commission is suppose to ensure this doesn't happen. Social programs don't work in capitalists countries because Bush spent all our Social Security and Healthcare money! So now we must pay for it. It's Reps not Dems who are denying Americans benefits when we pay for theirs. It' appalling.

  • That's not true Ithom33! Soc Security has been mismanaged for decades, long before Bush! Health Care money, that doesn't exist! Your right about one thing though. We WILL pay. Even as the bill is now, it costs 900 billion +. To do this it must be deficit spendning. It's just like using a credit card. You reap the benefits of that card for a time, but later the bill comes in with interest. What do you think will happen to us and our system when that bill comes due? BTW few are DENIED coverage!

  • Well, government oversight has been in place since FDR and we've done fine. It' lifted in 2000 and Bush had no oversight, and we plunge into the worse recession since the Great Depression. The timeline, as well as the result, is obvious.

  • Ithom33 have you ever studied what happened during the Great Depression? I have, and evidence is clear that FDR prolonged the GD due to massive regulaltion. Also your timeline leaves out many years where the opposite is true. For instance, how did Carter do as opposed to Reagan? THAT is obvious. Bush's problem was that he compromised on his Free Market principles, and that caused massive problems for the economy. I don't defend Bush for that. Still, you are wrong when you assume so quickly....

  • ...that Repubs are solely to blame for the economy. I have knowledge of 4 events which lead to the housing bust of 08, which spread to the financial markets, and the rest of the economy. The facts are fascinating, and prove that gov is unqualified to run an economy!

  • Originally the Government' purpose was attended to protect the private property rights and interests of the people, and to provide common defense against external threats. The government should not run the economy -it should run itself. I just wrote a long post to a good friend in Sweden explaining this. It is what makes Social countries fail.

  • Ithom33 We agree here as well. Gov can not run econonmy, nor should they. That's why I've been against many of their programs. The more they make the more people become dependent on them. When that happens gov can demand whatever they please from the people!

  • Good -we're agreeing some! Well, you said you were against "many" of the programs but I am assuming not all. Not all Americans make $250k a year. We must take care of them but there are times some do become dependent on them. From what I understand there are strict guidelines to qualify for benefits -I don't know.

  • you vanished

  • I'm listening to the Smiths!

  • Yes, Bush did compromise the Free Market and the result is that we must pay off the financial sector -we must pay for those faulty loans. Also I agree that FDR prolonged the Depression. Carter was another who inherited a mess. Reagan was a nightmare.

  • So on Bush we actually agree for once. Carter caused his own mess. Did you live through that era? Reagan was superb! His poincies created millions of jobs and trillions in wealth over a 25 year period!

  • After the huge Reagan recession -- made worse by utterly failed Reagan "Voodoo Economics" - did Democrats regain some control in Congress. They halted some Reagan initiatives, but couldn't do much on their own. Six years into Reagan's presidency, Democrats retook the Senate, and began to reverse some of Reagan's horrendous policies. By that time, Reaganomics had "accomplished" quite a bit: doubled the national debt, caused the S&L crisis, and nearly wrecked the financial system.

  • It' a myth that Carter wrecked the economy & Reagan's bold tax cuts saved it. Economic growth indices GDP, jobs, revenues were all positive when Carter left office. All plunged after Reagan policies took effect. The main economic problem during the Carter years was his Federal Reserve Chairman Volcker raised interest rates. He did nothing to bring down the Soviet Union. He should have been imprisoned for the Iran Contra Affair which most of his admin was, etc..yuck!

  • it's a myth your alive and make sense...Commie virgin troller

  • We will speak on this matter more Ithom33. Your assumtions regarding Reagan are dead wrong, but I won't offer you that statement without giving you proof. As such, can you cite specific policies which hurt the economy as you claim? I'll also post concerning the Soviets, and Iran Contra. See you next post!

  • @USSJ3 Wrong? Google

    1) "The Reagan Legacy" by The Nation

    2) "Reagans Legacy: Homelessness in America" By Peter Dreier

    3) "What is Ronald Reagan's legacy?" by TIME

    The above is some info.

  • Read on Ithom33. As I said numbers don't lie. Stop kidding yourself!

  • spammed term paper

  • @USSJ3 It was Bush' bill. Accept it.

  • I didn't say it wasn't Hellsadvocate. I am only suggesting that Congress must pass it before he can sign it! Therefore they are just as responsible for it!

  • Well, here's the thing. I didn't agree with bailing them out, either. Though I did agree it was neccessary to not dip into an even FURTHER reccession than we had at the time.

Bailing out the companies stopped a domino effect reccession. Yes, people are still having troubles, but it could've been much, much worse.

  • So you agree AND disagree with it? You don't understand how basic economics works Hellsadvocate. If those companies had gone into bankruptcy, they would not have been closed. They would have been put under the charge of a judge who would have forced the companies to make changes in order to survive. Such could have been done without even one dime of tax payer's money. The economy could have come back on it's own. Instead we are paying the bill for the massive debt created!

  • Yes, I do understand how basic economics works.

Stop watching propagandic youtube videos that tell you if someone was made to make 'proper' decisions about the companies that everything would've magically fallen back in to place.

Changes in order to survive? Good one. Well, I guess you could say that, since you seem to like Reagan. The first two years of the Reagan years were full of unemployment and a bad economy, yet his whole presidency isn't judged like you do so toward Obama's.

  • Hellsadvocate where do you get the idea that allowing them to go into bankruptcy court was a BAD idea? Doesn't it make sense to make them fix thier own problems without forcing the tax payer to hold them up? You know as well as I do that we will never see that money! As to Reagan. The reason we judge Obama the way we do is that understand his philosophy. He is the exact opposite of Reagan. Reagan believed in the ability of the American people to bring the economy back, so be wanted tax cuts....

  • ...for Americans. he understood that if the private sector kept more of thier own money, they would use that money, and in so doing the economy would recover. Obama has no faith in the people. He believes that gov is the only entity that can create a strong economy. There are nations that live under that kind of belief, and the people that live in those nations suffer for it. Understand that no gov can control an economy without controlling it's people! Many in gov have little if any business...

  • ...experience. How can they run what they have no experience in? If you were on an operating table and saw a bureaucrat holding the knife and promising you'd be ok, would that comfort you? If works the same way in an economy. They don't know what they are doing! In contrast, Reagan did what few politicians would ever think to do. He allowed people with that experience (the private sector) to run the economy by letting them keep thier hard earned money! Let me illustrate this for you more....

  • ...specifically. In 1981 the economy suffered from double digit interest, unemployment, and inflation rates. Reagan sought passage of the Economic Recovery Tax Act (Kemp-Roth bill). It cut Federal income tax brackets by25%, and indexed the rates against inflation to prevent creeping bracket increases in future years. It also instituted the Accelerated Cost Recovery System, and a 10% Investment Tax Credit. The reason for this was to remove barriers to investment, productivity, and growth. The...

  • ...result: Inflation dropped from 13.5% in 1980 to 4.1% in 1988. Interest rates dropped from 18% for a 30 year fixed mortgage in 1981 to 8% in 1987. Unemployment dropped from around 10% in the 1981-1982 recession to 5.5% in1989, once all the tax cuts kicked in. Reagan's policies were based on free market principles. Over the next 25 years, 43 million jobs were created, and $30 trillion in wealth was also created. Numbers don't lie. The Free Market works whenever it is tried, but Obama.......

  • ...rejects this in favor of a system of higher taxes, and gov regulation. Such didn't work when tried during the Great Depression. In fact, no country is ever prosperous under that king of system. Look at gov control over the economy of Venesuela as an example. Even Obama has to admit that his policies are not really helping the economy. He promised if they passed the stimulus that unemployment wouldn't rise above 8%. They were wrong, and that's just ONE policy. Can't you see the truth now?

  • @USSJ3 As IF Bush had any experience or Reagan, an actor! Palin' credentials is being a mother of 5? I wonder how in the hell these people ever get in office! It takes intelligence and great advisers, as well as a Congress willing to keep their promise to look out for the people. We have that finally!
