  • Anyone? Help?

  • I'm asking for help.... Help.

  • @wollclark same with me except I'm 12 yo 5'4 and 106 pounds.

  • sad story: ppl in dis video all got b& from postsecret forumz :'''(((

  • I'm 18, 5'9 and 345 pounds. I'm never going to get laid or fall in love. Suicide is ALWAYS an option.

  • ): ):

  • Say a friend of yours is talking about suicide. DO you call this number for him? and if so what wuold they do or have you do?

  • What should i do, my gf left me and had to move to ohio, im so depressed she said she could wait to come back and i was waiting then she dumped me, i was welling to wait the 8 months for, i really dont know what to do anymore , i love nikki, and now 6 months later ive been trying so not to break but this is the hardest thing ive been through in my whole, can i have some advice

  • heyy man how r u doing with everything?@ stridencymetal209. i hope ur ok and if u need a buddy 2 talk 2 i got ur back

  • I have a story to share. I went to see my old pediatrician for a shot. I asked the nurse if I could see him. She said, "You're depressed, aren't you." I said yes and started crying. She said, "Doctor... will be able to help you. He helped me." I told my pediatrician that I didn't want to get counseling; I only wanted to tell him that I'm sorry I didn't make it into medical school. He said that there is a place for me thin this world, and gave me a huge. It alleviated six long years of suffering.

  • I still get chills everytime i see this..

  • samme.

  • ?????????

  • Aw this was very sweet guys! I hope it helped some people. D:

I agree with Sami though I feel left out now.

    ~MissKasey

  • Thank you very much for this video. I cried thanks to the boy at 1:23, it's beyond touching to know that you're not alone.

  • by the way I'm also really scared now.

    <3~~~

  • o cute but i feel left out omg....

  • ^^^ hugs Dan!

  • the guy with the plaid shirt totally got my attention and his voice was so soothing and comforting.

  • -_-

  • s my d, face.

  • i kindly disagree, i cried when i heard what he had to say because i have battled the same thing and it was touching to hear that i wasn't alone in my struggle. It's so easy to hide it from others especially because when people nowadays are so heartless that they believe your attempts are for attention or that there is no reason why anyone should be quite so sad, even when you've never given them a reason to believe otherwise.

  • nice touching video... hated the music though

  • I really love the video you did on the suicide hotline, I just visited the postsecret website, and it really got to me.. I want to thank you guys so much, and everyone who worked on it. On behalf of those feeling like that.. including myself.. Thank you. <3

  • Simply wonderful.

  • ohey - we're famous!

    - val

  • This video has like 5 million views. Holy tits.

  • 5 mil? haha

  • Who is the girl 4 minutes and 27 seconds in? She is gorgeous!

  • that's a boy? lol

  • omg she scared me!

  • Me =D

  • you? =O

  • P.S. All the work my ass, Tim. You edited. It's a big part, but yeah...ass.

  • I said I did all the work except for the filming, which is entirely true. I also got everyone together, the music, told people what to talk about, and so on. Messaging people alone probably took at least four hours. I wanted other people to help with this, but no one felt like it. And while I planned for the rest of the video to be more collaborative, instead I just had to write everything out (except for you and Dan's individual parts).

  • blpblpblp

  • There is an alternative to the Hopeline that is also in existence and that serves the very same purpose: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline @ 1800-273-TALK. It's 24/7. Regardless of which you want to support, don't lose sight of the effectiveness of a suicide prevention hotline, and don't hesitate to use one whenever you need it.

  • <3 thank you for uploading.

such a warm feeling has overwhelmed me.

  • the guy in the plaid shirt has the most soothing voice ever

  • This is a really wonderful video. There should always be outlets available for people who feel that they are close to attempting suicide, and have no one to tell. In reality, I'm sure they have many loved ones they could tell... but sometimes it just doesn't seem that way. That's why hopeline is so important.

  • You guys are awesome. :]

  • wow.. the views went from 4000 to 55000.

im glad frank put this on the blog.

so many more people aware : )

    yay!

  • This video is GREAT. We just started a To Write Love on Her Arms branch at my college and we're raising money to help support 1.800.SUICIDE. Thanks guys :)

  • TWLOHA supports a homophobic organization, Mercy Ministries. It is one of the very few charities that TWLOHA gives to, when it isn't just the founder keeping the money for himself.

  • The irony of a yaylife organization supporting organizations that cause so many homo's to off themselves every day makes me poop with disappointment ;-;

  • We're not sending the money to TWLOHA, but to Hopeline itself :)

  • really? that's really interesting, but who's your source? just wondering.

  • TWLOHA's terms clearly state that the creator takes a lot of the money, and that he sends a lot to Mercy Ministries. Look up Mercy Ministries, they do not hide that they offer (homosexual to straight) conversion therapy.

  • Does this mean we're famous now?

  • i just saw this on postsecret

    keep going hopeline-people need it

  • God bless you, Hopeline, for doing what you do.

  • Great video guys!

(p.s. the guy talking from 1min22 is cute! :P)

  • totally agree.

  • I this sounds horrible... but I couldn't help think "When is the comedian going to come out?"

Other than that, this was a good video! :)

  • Oi... I meant to say that the music distracted me... Sorry!

It's great to read that this video changed people's lives, tho'... nice work :)

  • I dont see how donating money to the hopeline will save suicidal people. Really I dont

  • They'll be able to keep their phone lines open, and spread the word. And I'm sure training for their operators is not free.

  • Office space and supplies don't come free, either.

  • Because offering donations to Hopeline will allow it to continue to exist and give chances to people out there who do seek out the help to receive it. I think the "hope" here is that they will then use it instead of offing themselves. How do you expect it to exist without money?

  • WOW!

Just saw this on PS and it is amazing!

Thankyou for putting the effort into making this and letting people know that they aren't alone in this and that there is help.

  • great and valuable vid, but get rid of the music. It is truly terrible, and made me almost cry with laughter, which should not be the reaction to the message contained in the video.

  • Your mom called and she said, "CALL.HOPELINE.TODAY!"

  • HEY THAT'S ME ^-^

  • Lovely Video, don't like the music in the background. Would have preferred just the voices of the people. :D

    Go hopeline!

  • Well donefor making the video. Don't let isiots of some people on here or in reality tell you different. Suicide is a serious matter. 3 of my friends attempted it, it failed the week after they died in a car accident. Trust me it can be prevented.

  • : ) i didnt know if this ever really got made. im glad i could have been a part of it. thank you tim, it was verry beautifully put together, and im sorry for all of your losses.

  • Suicide isn't worth it and to make jokes about this nature is really tasteless as well as heartless. Being someone that has been there and done that. I know the feeling believe me. Thanks for sharing this you all. God bless you all!

  • watch?v=1UEOZGFzPas

  • your a fucking dumbass suicide is not a laughing matter it is serious. you are probably some dumbass with no life.

  • Depression is a DISEASE that MAY lead to suicide if not taken care of properly.

You can't stop it; & Its hard to cure it.

Some people don't even know they have this disease.

    Learn some respect.

  • Either that comment is lagging on my screen but that last comment was for WildShoeTWT.
