The only person who was ever there for me was...still IS....is my dad. I love him soo much that I would sacrafice my life for him. He's the only one who is/was understanding, compassionate, loving. He is the one thing thats kept me from committing suicide. I still have suicidal thoughts....but I love him too much to kill myself.

This explains everything I went through during my childhood too. My mother was also very verbally abusive until I turned 15, about 5 monthes ago. I have soo many painful memories of when I was a little girl, and she was mean, verbally abusive, never there for me, and always angry at me. Her alcoholism made everything much worse during the times when she kept drinking, then getting ambulanced out of our home. The pain was soo much that, a few times, I had even attacked her.

well.....odds are it would never happen...but for every one time it does....there are 20 more kids who came close....and for every one of those......100 more had it cross there mind....don't ever bury your head in the sand.....love and talk to the children you bring into this world. hold them tight, as often as you can, no matter what their age. it's tough getting through the birth canal, they need help getting through their teens too.
