Thanks Joe,,,i have been trying to learn what to play in this song,,i have it on cd with no steel ! What you show here gets me to i can play it ! Thanks for all you do ! JIM
Hey Joe , finally good to see your face. This is a really good video. Can you show us how to play this Ray Price intro ? Keep up the good work my friend. Thanks....Ricky
Joe, Good stuff. These are the fundamentals of band stand playing. Good advice about moving the chords around also. Keeps it interesting. Thanks Perry
its hard to find players that have discipline. everyone wants to be in the spotlight and that just makes a mess out of a song. most of the time for me the simplist things played right and at the right time makes the best impression in a song. there are times you can play evey lick you know but for the most part we are there to compliment the singer and the song.
Joe, great advice, I played steel & lead in the past & was always worried about "stepping on" the singer or pianist etc. Thanks for sharing, if every player followed those rules, the live music would be cleaner & more enjoyable.
Ha! Your on u-tube! Its your very long lost ofspring heather, lol. To think I could find you on here.
