I wish they'd do a studio version of this. I just went through a breakup and have been listening to this, and I love it. Have to admit, as funny as it is that Alex didn't want to keep singing through the sad part, I wish he wasn't laughing- it takes away from the depth of the song. Great music though, hate me all day, this kid's better than Lennon could have ever been. More real.

I'm with Mirthe- there's no Covers Mixed tape. I'm a bit fanatical about the AM, have all of their albums and eps, either in the flesh or recreated through downloads.

They really should make a 'B-sides and Rarities' track, with their covers and acoustic remakes- they certainly have enough material They've covered:

Amy Winehouse, Barbara Lewis, Bob Marley, Girls Aloud, Nick Cave and the Badleys, Rod McKuen (this track), The Strokes, off the top of my head.
