AMAZING!! This piece just is that (: im 2nd 3rd chair trumpet and in this piece im playing 2nd trumpet, a little challenging but its an inspiring piece :D <3 props
Great job, our middle school band is playing this but it wont sound as good, great intination and sound... John Williams is a genius!!! Only composer better was Fredrick Handel.
I played this for four graduations on the tuba for my highschool. Love it. Gives me uber weird shivers lol even listening to it now. We have it played right when the graduates turn their tassles and exit the building, with everyone chearing and crying and all that mushy stuff. I just graduated last june :D
Epic ! John Williams rules, he's surely one of the coolest composers ever - he's the owner of titanic pieces. There would be no Star Wars without him, that's for sure lol
Magnificent! This is probably the best performance of this piece I've ever heard. I first became familiar with it on partiot Mark Koerneke's 2nd "America in Peril" video. It took me two years to find out what the music was. I have several recordings of it (including the live version done on the 1996 "A Capitol 4th" Washington DC July 4th concert). But IMO this one is the best.
thank you i need to hear this song because i have the sheet music for this song on trombone and im still lost but i needed to at least listen to the song and it sounds awesome so thank you
Fantastic music... this makes me think about the Olympics and how I used to watch it with my family when I lived at home. The music just wraps up all the emotions I've had about the Olympic Games in the past. Watching them now, haha...
P.S. I wonder if you can go to a Best Buy and request them to play this on the speakers in the entertainment center :D
Just saying John Williams started as a director at my scho
