I'm Muslim. Firstly, I'd ask if the dogs live there. Is that where they are, day in, day out? Because if they are, they should be used to adhan and therefore unhindered by it. However, I would find it odd if they are there all the time and always behaved like that during adhan. - They'd get used to it...surely...wouldn't they?

A simple answer would be that while the adhan took place, the evil was running away from the area, and the dogs picked up on that, i.e. they cud sense that the evil was moving away due to the adhan and purity, i dont quite see what the lady in the movie is trying to say? I'll tell you whats wrong with 'jack', the dog bloody heard the adhan go and due to the adhan the evil moved away and the dumb dogs picked up on that evil moving...easy as that, if you want to believe it that is, I know I do

It is not the prayers that make dogs howl, actually, what u can hear in the video, is a part of the the -call to prayer- which are sent out from the mosques at every interval's start of each of the 5 daily prayers. These calls have been instituted by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) at the city of Madina and he designed Bilal, to be the first -caller to prayers- of the history.
In these calls to prayers, you can hear first, the takbir (Allah is the Greatest) 2 or 4 times, the Chahada (First pilar of Islam) twice then "Come to the pray" x2 then "Come to success" x2 then takbir x2 then tawhid : "There is no god but Allah"
Hmm... just to be fair, what they should do is play another sound that sounds similar to the azan (in that it has elongated AAAAAAA sounds) and see if the dogs reply or anything. If they do, I'm afraid I'll have to take this as a coincidence.

Dogs worshiping Islam? Whats next, Peanuts walking to 7/11? I think the dogs were just annoyed by the sound, dogs do this all the time, whether it be a car alarm or a call to prayer... I can make a dog bark (if I wanted) and say its trying to worship me, pretty subjective, huh? Btw, I keep hearing from Muslims that dogs are forbidden in Islam, but then I hear they are only not allowed to be eaten (who would want to do that) but it seems debatable? Which one?

In our religion it is said all animals worship Allah, anyone can make a dog bark rite thts for sure and dogs are not forbidden in islam, we are forbidden to touch them if they have pissed,yes they are nt to be eaten too. wht u are misunderstanding is it is our religion so we will believe the things our God has said to us. dogs are actually pretty much "halal" , as seen in yogyakarta , where people can enjoy different dishes of dogs meat in little restaurants .
yogya ,central java , indonesia ,world's biggest islamic country , populat. 200,000 000 .
if you would see how disrespectful animals get slaughtered down in "halal butcheries",you would loose your appetite for meat for a while .

I'm Muslim. Firstly, I'd ask if the dogs live there. Is that where they are, day in, day out? Because if they are, they should be used to adhan and therefore unhindered by it. However, I would find it odd if they are there all the time and always behaved like that during adhan. - They'd get used to it...surely...wouldn't they?

A simple answer would be that while the adhan took place, the evil was running away from the area, and the dogs picked up on that, i.e. they cud sense that the evil was moving away due to the adhan and purity, i dont quite see what the lady in the movie is trying to say? I'll tell you whats wrong with 'jack', the dog bloody heard the adhan go and due to the adhan the evil moved away and the dumb dogs picked up on that evil moving...easy as that, if you want to believe it that is, I know I do

It is not the prayers that make dogs howl, actually, what u can hear in the video, is a part of the the -call to prayer- which are sent out from the mosques at every interval's start of each of the 5 daily prayers. These calls have been instituted by the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) at the city of Madina and he designed Bilal, to be the first -caller to prayers- of the history.

In these calls to prayers, you can hear first, the takbir (Allah is the Greatest) 2 or 4 times, the Chahada (First pilar of Islam) twice then "Come to the pray" x2 then "Come to success" x2 then takbir x2 then tawhid : "There is no god but Allah"

Hmm... just to be fair, what they should do is play another sound that sounds similar to the azan (in that it has elongated AAAAAAA sounds) and see if the dogs reply or anything. If they do, I'm afraid I'll have to take this as a coincidence.
