  • beaucaulic 1st attempt thumbs up

  • Looks great but water usually rolls over it self and other stuff like that, Looks more like waving cloth.

  • shame about the tesco phone shop add right across the video picture!!!

  • beautiful, I have to try this. great work, how long did it take to render, and can you put in on repeat?

  • @LouiseRed89 This technique renders very very fast, but as many commenters have noted, it looks pretty crappy. However, it doesn't even need to repeat, as it uses procedural textures built into Blender. Thus, it can keep going forever without the need to create tileable textures or loopable animations. For a way better water render, see the link in this video's description.

  • @Pseudo8 cool, I didnt know it was done in blender, I wonder if its possible in 3dsmax too? anyway I think it looks great, the flow of the waves looks very nice!!:) great job!!

  • very nice

  • Awesome, totally awesome, dude.

  • nice animation. Way better than I could do

  • i like it but none of the water seems to break up or splash. it seems more like a piece of cloth

  • slow it down a bit. the speed is a little unnatural. also, some extra lighting (preferably a sun lamp) may do u good.

  • cool, those textures look very good! currently experimenting with normals, to make bumpmaps like this one.

  • Seems unnatural, but the colors are good.

  • good but they move a bit too fast

  • Thats really cool

  • ok pseudo..xD thx

  • Right on! Great detail.

  • oh mi god..how u did that?? it's fantastic!

  • There's a tutorial in the video description.

  • shot!

  • that was awesome. I finally made my first animation, you should check it out and give me some pointers.

  • please moke a video tutorial too confusing

  • wow. It's amazing.

  • Amazing

  • wow very nice indeed, a new type of visualization :)

  • looks very nice really coool to get ideas from youtube ^^

  • That is very good looking :-)

  • How did you do that?!

  • See the video description >.>

  • Wow. Cool one, though it looks more like jelly, without water breaking. You could use some particles for that.
