is there anything that can make it go faster....to make any progress with our oil consumption we are going to have to crank out oil at a much faster pace than this. However, it is a very good idea...just got to find a way to speed it up. You could use a few hundred of these for a algae pond....or one huge one to cut down on maintenance time
it matters little if the flake needs help. what matters is getting a unit for sale that works in field conditions on a good algae bloom. we can produce algae at a rate that nature allows given ideal conditions, we await a unit with associated tech that does not even need to achieve the 1.92 a tonne, we just need something that works at a cost effective rate given that we can produce a gram or so per litre of water. that means cost per unit/maintenance on screen and belts. other costs are small.
I have seen this unit in operation and it is amazing! The delamination of the algea from the screen belt requires no assistance. The economy and efficiency of this machine makes algea fuel a real affordable solution.
