yea it was real hard to cut one padlock and push some animals in a van from a farm not on the academy grounds. you have your damn mules with guards and you keep them on your campus. the last time navy took the mules there was a police chase that crossed statelines and after that there was a truce signed because it involved outside police and they didnt want another incident like that happening again
please keep the rivalry friendly. as a former cadet candidate, i hate hearing people diss on Navy and they say they are real Army fans...I'm an Army fan all the way but my cousin served in the Navy and my ex-bf(lol) goes to naval.. so keep up the good work. i remember hearing about this and also about the prank AF pulled on Naval in the 90s too. :)

I was extremely disappointed in the lack of sportsmanship by Navy, sending cheerleaders over to the Corps to taunt them after they score their 38th point. Classy, navy, classy. Thats why your cheerleader and mascot both got owned.

I'm all for the USNA-USMA rivalry, but when people start saying one service has done more (or has a more proud history) the whole fun is lost ... and people start looking ignorant really quickly.
It is by no concidence that Navy's return to football dominance occured at approximately the same time as our involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. Navy will continue to recruit better players so long as there is a War On Terror. Granted there are some graduates that are motivated enough to branch Marines or become Seals, most do not. The threat of deploying to a combat zone decreases top athletes going to WP. So in closing, good job Navy, I hope to watch your Bowl Game if I'm not on patrol.

If true, I hope it is of some consolation for having been in the Corps when Navy not only increased its lead over Army in the series (again), but you also got to be party to the first time ever in this great rivalry to have one school win for the 6th consecutive time (Daly, Blaik and Dawkins never did it).
Currently no members of the Corps knows of FB Victory over Navy, soon nobody at West Point below a Field Grade Officer will have ever known what it is like to win.

If they weren't the real goats, then why would the Com of Navy demand that USMA promise to bring the goats back by the Sunday prior to the game before she would let the West Point cadets on exchange leave for Thanksgiving.
I highly doubt the goats are stand ins.
