I think it is a real possibility that this scenario of our own technology attacking ourselves then blaming an outside force that may not exsist in order to militarize space is not a mad idea. It would also cut the world population down to a more managable state, which is currently out of control, and may bring the world together. So it has some plus points,hehe!!.

@sambozauk i disagree... if you were to ask almost any person from any where what is it that they want most in the world and they will all tell you world peace. it is only because so much ignorance has forced most of the human race to live in a manner that goes against our natural setting. it is the blind struggle for power that only a small segment of us have that end up driving us into bad choices. i.e. governments! there is more need than desire and we need to reverse this trend completely.

And it is the ruling elites that can afford the degree of organization that exists , which keeps wars a constant in our existence. People left to their own devices are peace loving and want only to enjoy their families and their leisure. Existence could be so much more egalitarian and of higher quality of life, if not for the ruling elitists and their minions. They are "empty vessels" of greed; No amount of wealth is ever enough for them. Their greatest fear is that some law might allow a "level playing field" to exist. When one pulls away from contemplation of the very minute it can be seen that even the glalaxies are circling around a nucleus just as an atom and even down into the sub atomic particality level, all are circling around a nucleus.
