  • LOL!! Technical stupidity!

  • Comment removed

  • looks like Jerry Garcia here

  • How DARE that person cough during Don

  • The tuning in the description is wrong... it should read CGEbFBbD (from low to high)

  • between 1:24 and 1:30 made me laugh so much

  • So would I be somewhat correct in saying that the tuning is in an open F, or do I have to brush up on my theory?

  • open f is f a c f c f. sorry for the late comment XD

  • Congratulation for this music, Don, it's so good.

  • don = donald?

  • lol how can people talk during this.. -.-

  • It was a workshop, not a concert. Most of the talking was one guitarist asking another: "What's the name of this tune?" etc.

  • Question do half the candy rat artist use classical guitars or steel stringed cuz i can't tell the difference the sound is so pure

  • Usually you can tell the difference in sound just by the different tones, considering that classical uses nylon in the bottom three strings. Barring that, the headstocks will look different, with classical guitars having holes in them, while acoustics will look more like electric guitars.

  • I know this comment was made a year ago but classical guitars have nylon strings for all 6 strings, not just the bottom 3. The 'top' 3 strings are nylon but wound with really thin metal.

  • This song bears similarity to "samus stardrive" by andy mckee

  • You must mean "Samus Stardrive" bears similarity to Don's tune, since "So Little Time" was released in 1995 and "Samus Stardrive" was released in 2005. In other words, Don influenced Andy, not vice versa. :)

  • @guitarmusic1 and now andy influences don

  • you will notice that alot of candy rat artists borrow from King Don Ross

  • Well, it's in the same tuning I can tell ya that.

  • haha anybody notice that riff from Thin Air that you can hear playing at the beginning of the video?

  • beautiful song.. my new ross favourite

  • It's one thing to play these songs...let alone to sit down and write them. Imagine the hours he puts in when putting these arrangements together!

  • I just find it amazing how well he can recall all these old songs of his, when they're all in irregular tunings!

  • love the technical stupidity!

  • Technical stupidity...Brilliantly put! I got a laugh!

  • man this guy have som skills alright :-D don ross god has given you a talent thats for sure. never heard anyone play with such feeling like don ross and andy mckee.. amazing.
