Shes a lot braver than I would have been at that age, just a few years ago when I was 16 I had to be numbed up to remove an infection from my wisdom teeth removal and the oral surgeon goes "ok, little pinch here" when he's numbing me and i was this close to saying "dude, on what planet is that a LITTLE pinch"? lol, she so brave, good for her!

I hate filling's. I have had lot's of cavities. I didn't mind the filling's where they sandblasted the tooth and then put lot's of gunk on it. It tasted bad though. Even now when I get filling's someone has to be with me to hold my hand because let's just say I get a little emotional.

i was given 6 filling without laughing gas and injection

is take 50min they open my teeth with they put something in my mouth so i can not open

is was ok at first but the end is it painful

they use air,driller 2 type, water syringe 2 type one put on my mouth one they hold,black filling,water and polishing (singapore one)

@eugene6833 Did it hurt when they drilled? what happen exactly? I am 13 and am having 4 fillings. I'm really scared & keep crying about it. I am not having injections or numbing gel or laughing gas so will this be painful?? thanks.

@EmilyReeve the drilled does not hurt put uncomfortable only.they use a prop to open your mouth so you won't close when they started drilling at the tooth. i hurt abit when they use the air but most of the time i will feel uncomfortable

@EmilyReeve at first, you don't feel any pain, just litlle presure. than, when the drill gets deeper in your teeth, you fell more and more burning like filling. It's awfull, doesn't hurt like if somone punches you, but it does burn quite a bit. You shuld ask your dentinst how deep your caries is and you shuld ask for an injection! Injections don't even hurt or sting if dentist uses numbing gel before the injection. Trust me it's better to get a shot than havieing 4 teeth filled without anastetic
