Trading Peyton Hillis to the Browns for Brady Quinn was an EPIC FAIL. Quinn hasn't taken a snap all season while Hillis has rushed for over 1,000 and scored 11 TD's in 13 games. As for Parcells, when he took over The Giants, Patriots and Jets (who were in worst shape than the Broncos) he got them into the playoffs his second year.

Actually with Cutler under center last year, the Broncos ranked LAST in points per yardage last year. That's because Cutler was in the bottom three among starting quarterbacks in Red Zone percentage. That doesn't sound like a lot more positive plays than negative ones. in the red zone Cutler has more picks than touchdowns... look it up . ANd it's easy to throw for a lot of yards in the defensively challenged division the Broncos played in.

Lets look at Cutler stats for this year compared to Orton. Orton is 6-1 as a starter, and Cutler is 4-3. Orton has 9 TDs and Cutler has 11. Orton has 1 INT, Cutler has 11. Bottom line Orton takes care of the ball alot better than Cutler.

Trading Peyton Hillis to the Browns for Brady Quinn was an EPIC FAIL. Quinn hasn't taken a snap all season while Hillis has rushed for over 1,000 and scored 11 TD's in 13 games. As for Parcells, when he took over The Giants, Patriots and Jets (who were in worst shape than the Broncos) he got them into the playoffs his second year.

Assuming Bronco players won't quit on Mcdaniel the way they did this season. Now Denver has to decide if they should resign Orton or use the the 1st round pick from the Bears to get a QB. Since the Bears ended at 7-9 they'll get the 11th or 12th pick. By that time all the good QB's will be gone. Broncos are the 3rd team since the merger to choke after a 6-0 start to the season.

Compared to Cutler, yes he is. Compare the win/loss records going all the way back to college. Cutler has never been much above 500. How many more Bear fans than Bronco fans would reverse the trade. Actually a lot of Bear fans are happy with Cutler. Chicago is known to be really cut throat against under performing QB's. It's funny that you call him pouter but in the sports wire a lot Bronco players are not happy with McDaniel. Since Cutler has been in Chicago, he's been very professional about things even the tough questions. He hasn't whined, pouted or anything. Chicago has a bad O line and inexperienced WR's. It was until recently that the Bears used an experienced WR.

Actually with Cutler under center last year, the Broncos ranked LAST in points per yardage last year. That's because Cutler was in the bottom three among starting quarterbacks in Red Zone percentage. That doesn't sound like a lot more positive plays than negative ones. in the red zone Cutler has more picks than touchdowns... look it up . ANd it's easy to throw for a lot of yards in the defensively challenged division the Broncos played in.

Did you even watch the game? What do you expect when the offensive line can't run block or pass block? Jay is not to blame for the defense not showing up either. One of those picks was a tipped ball, and the third was Greg Olsen's fault, he didn't even reach for it.

It's not fair to compare those stats at this point in the season.
First of all- Denver has an offense that was built for Cutler, Chicago has not built a team that a QB can thrive in because they've had such low quality QB's for the last DECADE or more- Griese, Orton, Grossman...
Secondly-Orton does NOT take care of the ball any better. Talk about the stats all you want, but I've been watching the games. Orton has thrown just as many bad balls, they just happened to get dropped by the defense.

My problem is with McMidget. As a Broncos fan, my HATRED for the Patriots and Belichick's crew was INTENSE. So when Pat Bowlen decided to hire a Patriot. I was EXTREMELY skeptical, for the Patriots have no class, and they're all a bunch of CHEATERS. Everyone from Belichick to Tom Brady was involved in the "spygate" incident.

I was very skeptical and upset by the hiring of McMidget, but was still willing to give him a chance. But then he decided to trade Cutler for some CHUMP named Matt Cassell, who is a CAREER BACK-UP(just like Orton).
Denver had the BEST offense in the AFC last year(2nd in the NFL), and McMidgets first order of business is to dismantle it? That's when I defected.
Cutler didn't demand a trade until McMidget tried to trade him in secret, and then he couldn't pull it off, so he LIED about it....

The only reason I brought up Elway being a cry-baby is that Donkeys fans don't seem to get it.
I believe that sometimes players know what's best for their career. Elway, Eli Manning, and others have demanded trades or refused to play for a crappy team, and it worked out for the best.

Cutler's fault my ass! The first thing McMidget tried to do once he came to Denver was trade Cutler for Matt Cassell. He just wasn't smart enough to pull of the trade, and Cassell went to KC. Once Cutler found out that McMidget tried to trade him for some chump who couldn't carry his jock-strap, he wanted out. It's a simple as that! Can you really blame Cutler for wanting out?

The Bears pathetic offensive line is solely to blame for the poor performance of the offense. Frank Omiyale couldn't block a high-school kid, and Orlando Pace is washed up. Even Drew Brees can't do it ALL BY HIMSELF.
Chicago's defense is better than they played tonight, but they just didn't show up. On the other hand, the Bengals have one of the best offenses in the league, they were really sharp. Last time I checked, Cutler doesn't play defense.

agree he is doing a good job so far, and remember shanahan was running that D and as much as i love shanahan he new jack shit about defense, we were made up of old broken down backups as starters besides champ and DJ....and now McDaniels knows defense and he brought in a great D coordinator nolan, but both trades did work out for both sides and Ayers is starting to look really good

Also, sorry he didn't lead Denver to multiple Super Bowls during those 2 full seasons he was a starter there (25% of which he spent practically dying from diabetes - nice medical staff you've got there, Denver). I cannot wait to see Jay Cutler getting booed by Broncos fans on Aug 30th. Cutler is a great quarterback, but he acted very immature.
