I am currently playing part 1. It's spooky and does keep you on the edge of your seat. you don't know what's lurking around the corner!  To acquire good game play, I enjoy playin it in the dark.

Condemned Criminal Origins was much scarier, the part where your in that pitch black abandoned house and have to follow trails of writing that only show up under UV light. Only your UV torch makes you put away your weapon and only illuminates the space just infront of you so that your surrounded by darkness....... and then you hear breathing right next to you and scraping noises.

If you thought Fear 2 was scary (and it is, but a very subtle type of scary) then you better get a defibrillator if you buy this game, cos Condemned 2 will give you a heart atttack! I still prefer the original Condemned though, as this one gets a bit loopy near the end.

yeah I didn't hear good thing about Silent Hill Homecoming either, but I was given it as a gift because everyone knows I'm a die hard Silent Hill fan and I have literally all the games accept the new Wii one. I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised that I am really enjoying it. I like the story, the character and the graphics. It is a good game to me but I know some don't like it that much. I would say rent it or get it for some where cheap. I think they paid $20 for it new for me.
