F1 pits are quick because the cars can be jacked up with a hand trucks and the wheels only have one nut. In NASCAR the cars have to be lifted with a hydraulic hand jack and each wheel has five nuts to unbolt and bolt again. In this particular clip something went very very wrong. A NASCAR pit stop should only take about 12 to 14 seconds. F1 also has the advantage of working with about 15 crew members, NASCAR only allows 6-7.

morgan shepard at watkins glen during the nationwide race had the worst pit stops every time they went in they only had 3 guys on the crew so 1 would do the gas then the other 2 would carry tires and change them but everytime they would trip over the wall so they asked for one stenhouse's crew memebers, and the crewman from stenhouse's crew would finish taking off the tire when the other guys would trip over the wall so he would have to help them up, and i was loling the time
