on my server there is a guild with 1000 members and they are capping their guild exp every day. They have not progressed in raids as a guild whatsoever, and yet must they consider themselves 'the best guild'? I dont think so

i'm in a pretty large guild to, and mostly when i log on, the cap is reached or either verry close, so i think they should make it bigger, like half a guild level, or they should make it a bit bigger and nerf the xp u gain per quest/ thing u do even more,

also i'd like to add to the rep cap that u can gain each week, it's ridiculously low... or the rep gain is to high, again it's just a process of trial and error

I think the guild xp cap should be based on the amount of players in each guild. So each player in the guild raises the cap by a fixed amount, for example a guild with 10 people in would have a cap of 500, but a guild with 100 players in would have a cap of 5,000 (numbers just for an example not to be taken literally)

for instance a few of ran our ass's off to get the critter killer achievement,(I spent many hours playing kitty golf and chicken frying in goldshire). I'm in a guild of just over 300, we post at over 400 because of our alts. I'm not in disagreement with the caps, except for the personal one's:( I ran two of my 80's halfway through the hyjal quests and was capped for the WEEK on both. Our guild has only been able to get to lvl 4 because of these caps, the achievements we've completed we can't have till we're exhalted with the guild, but if their capping us before we can even finish a zone? what's the point?

Remove the guild exp cap, but make leveling guilds harder. For instance, certian guild achievements must be earned for certian levels (I'm thinking fairly simple things like complete this dungeon on this difficulty so that casual guilds still have a fair shot).

Big hardcore guilds will reach 25 faster, smaller more casual guilds like mine should still reach it at a fairly steady pace. If you have more meatshields to throw around you should be more powerful as a guild.

They should make the final guild reward a Guild HQ! It has no perticular place on the map, but each guild member will recieve a Guild Stone in the mail which allows them to teleport to the Guild HQ! To get out, you need to take the teleporter to Orgrimmar/Stormwind or Hearth out! It's just an idea and probably not one of my better ideas!

But I belive they went the wrong way about it entirely.

I think they should up the xp gained from Heroics and Raids a lot.

I dont really think people should be rewarded for their number, rather their skill.

TB quick question about the authenticator, is it possible to get hacked or is it 100% secure way to keep hackers out, i mean can they replicate your exact authenticator some how. an answer of a link would be awesome =D

@Bigdaddymage it is still possible to get hacked, but hackers pretty much have to stalk your system so they can see the code you type in to long into battle.net. in short its a lot of work to get past it. also hving one is good becasue if you dont have one and get hacked, they wil sometimes change your password AND put an authenticator on it to use against you (yea it happened to me once)

How about this...

Level 5 guild reward- 2x exp gain from all sources (bringing the exp gain to half of what it used to be from what it is now)

Level 10 reward- 3x exp gain from all sources (this would equate to 3/4ths of what it used to be, or 75%)

level 15 reward- 4x exp gain from all sources (bringing it back to the original exp gain speed)

You'd have to work for your easier gains. Thoughts?
