I'd like to point out that Starbucks is never once mentioned in this commercial. And believe it or not... There is more Coffee shops out there than starbucks. I work a little mom and pop type Coffee Shop that has been in business years before Starbucks even posted up in our City.

All this commercial does is to take coffee from being something "trendy" to something everyone can enjoy

McDonald's Coffee is the best available at any fast food restaurant. I just think they sell more of it so it's usually fresh during the day. Dunkin Donuts is acceptable as well. If you really want to sample some great coffee, find yourself a cup of fresh-brewed New Orleans-style coffee (with Chicory). Luzianne is good.

And what is overpriced? Large coffee at Starbucks in Boston is $2.05 while a large at Dunkin Donuts is $2.15. What is it at McDonalds, maybe $1.49? You do get what you pay for.

Convenience store and gas station coffee often sits for hours not to mention drinking coffee made by someone handling gasoline isn't always worth saving half a buck.

I never put down Starbucks ads. Starbucks runs great ads (getting people out to vote and to volunteer) but many of their latte drinkers are pricks who think their shit smells like roses. McDonalds never puts Starbucks down in their ad -- at least not blatantly.
