So it's a 5 cyilinder. Turbo Yes: 0:23 look at the black big box (airfilter) it"s written on it. TURBO You can see it during the zoom in and zoom out at 0:26 This is the R5. It has a spoiler in the front 0:19. The T5 has a regular bumper with no spoiler. I own the T5. This little engine blows 240 hp

The lifters in that engine are loud. Do you ever pamper that car? My 1994 850 Turbo has 168,000 Miles and the engine still sounds like new, you can't even tell it's on unless you put it in drive. Treat it right and it will last you a lifetime.

Audi my ass, these white block engines were first designed as the B6304FS as an inline six in 1991 for the Volvo 960 BY PORSCHE. They were reduced to five cylinders with the same bore and stroke and renamed B5254. Turbos were a B5234T with slightly smaller capacity of 2.3 litres with strengthened block and they kick ass. With ECU upgrade alone they can push up to 330hp.

jesus... guys... this IS a turbo car! it just doesnt have the pipe going into the throttle body... you can clearly see uptop where the rubber coupler from the intercooler is missing the pipe that goes into the throttle body! and yes, the T5 engines are the same with the exception of the computer - 'R' cars had more boost, and 96' cars and later didnt have EGR's; but the engines are the same.. i should know, i have a T5-R and an 850 Turbo

Just to let all the idiots know . The T5 and The T5R engine are the same engine . some of the later T5's have a slight increase in bore . This car HAS a T5 engine with the smarter air management that the 'R' range had.

I dont see any piping at all. It says Turbo on the filter box though. And I dont see the spinner in the back of the engine. I'm not sure it is a turbo engine, because the noise from the air filter box is way too loud to hear the turbo
