One question, do you memorize a piece like this(by ear) or do you write it out to learn it. It so different (melodically) than anything I have ever done and my ear is not developed enough to pick this up. May be some day!

@acfiorentina The version that I am playing in this video goes down to D (3rd fret on my 5th string). You cannot play this note anywhere on a standard tuned, four string bass.

Of course, you don't have to play that low D, but if you want to play it like this, you can try dropping your E string to D. You can also re-arrange it so you don't have to play the low D or even playing the whole bridge between verse and chorus in the upper octave.
