It's Puxleys Mansion . He made a furtion in Copper in Beara. The IRA burned it to the ground and you will see of of his ( Puxley) copper transport boat burned skeleton on the inlet in front of the mansion.Funny how people kept trying to chip away the marble columns in the mansion.It probably never will be finished. Perhaps in 20 years if when ever the EU comes back to life.Sure has screwed up the economey of Beara. Slainte, Miles

What a boring and ignorant speaker to choose on history of the area.
3 supposed stories.
1st story lasts just two lines and he manages to completely get that wrong, he calls it a Republican story, no it is not. It is a story of Irish history. He is not even certain where the original (old) castle is, could not even be bothered to look it up. .
That not one person corrected him, or pointed out his ignorance says a lot for the Jedward muppet generation of Irish.

@coolcork Dunboy Castle is the Ruin Adjacent to the New Capella Hotel site the funding by the banks has now run out and the Hotel has been mothballed another gift to the Irish People by those Coroprate Carpetbaggers who have bunkrupted the state have done a Runner! with the impermatur of the Muppets we call a Government....O'Sullivan Bere would have hung the lot of them from the nearest tree....
