  • did you list any more?

  • go and watch the creeping terror. it looks like a huge walking carpet. more pathetic than this one by a gazillion and 1!

  • Where can I downed a copy?

  • I own this movie, and it's easily the worst movie ever made. I had a friend come over to watch it with me and I had to use the bathroom at the start of the movie, and when I came back, he thought I was putting him on because of the alligator roll/dinosaur scenes in the beginning.

  • I have to admit that when I was a kid this movie scared the heck out of me and also I so sad because it seemed as if the bad guys won in the end but what does a kid know. When I got older and saw the movie again I can't remember ever laughing so hard. That movie was hilarious and the dialog, customs, I mean everything in it just made me laugh so hard I almost had a heart attack. I mean get this that big fat alien gorilla had a hard on for the woman in the movie.

  • lol a gorila in a diving outfit :-)

  • Yaaay!I love this gorilla with helmet!

  • i bet one of the 32 movies that are worse than this is recon 2022

  • Anybody know the name of the flick where the astronauts crash-land on a planet and are captured by dominatrix Amazons? I'm thinking specifically of the "flogging-with-chains" scene here....

  • haha. think thats bad!? ever heard of jerry warren my friends?! :( :@

  • Saw this once in my early teens...that'll do.

  • Indestructible moon monster = gorilla wearing a diving helmet with aerials

    FUCK!!! O.O

  • top 1 worst movies ever 1.justin bieber never say never

  • @crashbandicoot730 shut up that movie's cool

  • You sound like a Hu-Man, not a Ro-Man!

  • I agree.

  • look like this movie done by a 7year old

  • Horror novel see video book trailer

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!! XD

  • THAT MOVIES ARE TERRIFIC, I DONT KNOW YOU GUYS BUT FOR ME ARE CULT!

  • THe ending!lol

  • I have very fond memories of this film. Remember without it there would have been no 2001 - no Star Wars. The use of CGI was years ahead of it's time while the script and acting were all top notch. It's unlikely I'll ever see a more convincing movie alien.

  • Oh, darn those Moon Monsters!

  • Oh my god! Is there anything scarier than a diver gorilla playing with bubbles?!

  • Actually the movie was quite good, I am a fan of horror movies and say this with a straight face, The picture was shot on a shoestring budget, that goes without saying, yet it contained elements that would fill a ten year old boy with fear. A murdering alien creature (kills a boy), the last family alive on earth, the eerie death ray, the Darth Vader like aspect of the monster, and to top it off, an excellent score, a first, created by the legendary Elmer Bernstein. A most under rated film.

  • @ivor1 yea but ur probibly 80+ the point is the way films r now, this is just insanly crap..still makes u wonder wud i have been impressed if i was born at the time???

  • LOL.

  • Robots have hair?

  • lmfao XD

  • This movie is an absolute masterpiece, and I say this without the SLIGHTEST hint of sarcasm or irony. This ranks up there with Raging Bull, 2001, Casablanca and The Graduate as being one of the greatest films ever made. I'll watch this 1,000 times before I'll watch Avatar once. If these movies are so bad then why do people still line their pockets making fun of them all these years later? You people are clueless.

  • PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE ... the worst is the best

  • I ashamed to say I paid to see a flick called "Message From Space". It had to be the worst ive ever seen.

  • SHIT!

  • First abad movie, then a botched suicide attempt, this director is a all around loser.

  • In defense of a shitty movie: I don't think you realize how truly bizarre this was when it came out in the 50s. Also, it deals with more creative subject matter, granted it has been rehashed a whole lot in the past 57 years, than today's shitty films (See: Notorius, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, e.g.)...

  • The guy wearing the gorilla costume and the diving helmet puts in a surprisingly good performance.

  • How about adding 'Howard the Duck', 'Ishtar' and 'Last Bite of the Crimson Phirana' to the list. [sorry, I made the last title up, but it sounds plausable].

  • hahaha the director tried to kill himself

    hahaha

  • Worst Movies Ever:

    1. Thelma and Louise

    2. Stalker

    3. Body Double

    4. The Music Lovers

    5. Six Weeks

    6. Racing with the Moon

  • A wonderfully bad movie. Am I the only one with low cinematic standards?

  • @rickbaunach

no, i also enjoy movies that suck so bad i like them :)

  • What? I love skeleton key, obsessed was good and meet the spartans was hilarious! i can think of a lot worse

  • To me, far worse than this are the movies today that take themselves so seriously that they earn hundreds of millions of dollars in funding from studios, but essentially contain no creative content that would challenge any viewer with any serious intelligence. Michael Bay's "Armageddon" comes to mind, as well as many other movies Bay has produced.

  • "I loved it! A cautionary tale for all of us to learn from!"--Gov. Jan Brewer (R-Arizona)

  • I have to buy that movie NOW!!!!

  • I think you missed the twilight films

  • 0:25 He missed XD!!

  • ## "Unsuspected revelations of" appalling film-making, is more like it

  • It helped to be about six or seven when viewing this fim.

It was pretty scary to me at that time.

  • According to "The Book of Lists", in its list of the" worst films of all time", when this movie came out reaction was so negative that director Phil Tucker attempted suicide shortly after its release.

  • Excuse me.. that is NOT a divers helmet.

  • at least it sounds better than The Super Hero Squad Show.

  • Reject! Pair off!

  • My energizer has scan-checked by square feet.

  • In the 22nd category, there is an error of sixteen billionths.

  • it was a simple matter of...strangulation.

  • FILTY BRIT

  • Is it bad that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this movie!!! I know it's supposed to be crap but I think it's awesome! I really liked it, and not in a "Haha isn't that stupid" kind of way. I really thought it was good.

  • Worst Movies ever: 1. Glitter 2. Son of the Mask 3. Obsessed 4. The Skeleton Key 5. WiseGirls 6. Marley & Me 7. House of the Dead 8. Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 9. Troll 2 10. I Can Do Bad All by Myself 11. Ed 12. Catwoman 13. Leprechaun 14. Zombie Nation 15. Meet the Spartans
  • @Magnolia296 You obviously havnt seen many movies. And theres nothing wrong with Marley and me or the skeleton key.

  • @no1horselover

Why are you so confident that Marley and Me isn't flawed?

  • @Magnolia296 - "The Skeleton Key"? That was a great movie! I haven't seen most of the ones on your list, but "The Skeleton Key" does not belong on a bad movie list.

  • @Magnolia296 Pretty good list! Although methinks 'The Skeleton Key' wasn't bad enough to warrant being in a top 10 worst movies list, and Troll 2 is so bad it's funny! Killjoy 1&2, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Gigli, Manos, almost anything from MST3K (without their "riffing") could replace The Skeleton Key :)

  • @Magnolia296 meet the spartans was pritty funny i think war of the worlds 2 should be 15th place not meet the spartans also have you seen the movie aliens vs. HUNTER its a copy of AVP dine by some collage students and the CGI is like shark attack 3 but worst its so stupid its funny!

  • @Magnolia296 THANK YOU FOR HAVING MEET THE SPARTANS ON THERE!

  • @Magnolia296 You forgot I Know Who Killed Me...how could you forget that one? It was so terrible, it still haunts me and probably always will. I need to go invent mind bleach to purge the memory now...

  • @PeanutButterZombie00 Well, I respect your opinion but think that I Know Who Killed Me was good film in comparison with many modern Hollywood trash

  • @Magnolia296 I think that Leprechaun was okay if you look at it if it was actually supposed to be a Gore filled comedy.

  • @Magnolia296 there are some other fucking bad films i know : 'silly movie' and 'the last winter'

  • @Magnolia296 Marley & Me? GOD I wanted to shot that dog and than dump it in the river.

  • @Magnolia296 what about ''The Room'' 0_0

  • @Magnolia296 WHAAAA?!?! how do you not have showgirls on that list!!!

  • @Magnolia296 16: Any movie that utilizies the "third-eye shot", shakes the camera to death, cuts the scene too short, scenes are 0.7-1.3 seconds long, blocks the scene with something or someone in the foreground, moves the camera so there is only half a close-up, too-close close-ups, too far third-eye shots, cuts before the flames apex or the car finishes rolling, and uses all the other distracting bad habits that previous generations of directors before 1998 knew better than to use.

  • LOL

  • I've seen that movie and it was the worst of all. I was like embarress by watching it. Don't you agree.

  • He's in apesuit, that means he don't give a fuck!

  • I will include this movie amongst my favourite 50 COMEDIES! Even actors themselves working in the movie seem to split themselves laughing; look carefully at that woman´s face taken in arms by the... "gorillesque-robotious" monster at 0:23- 0:26. I wish I worked in that film to have a good time and have fun; it must´ve been quite entertaining looking at that woman´s face! And then the woman hitting him on his shoulders at 0:51... (oh, geez; so bad...)

  • Haha!! The monster speaks English, too!

  • did You ever watch "Fucked in Space" on U-Tube?

  • love the part when he was choking that guy. it was hilarious

  • i have this movie, didn't mind it too much, good for a laugh

  • I would think that, you would have to be an expert in order to make a movie worse than this.......and to my own supprise there are 32 movies worse than this one !? ....what could possible be worse, then a movie about a man in a gorilla suit with a divers helment from the moon, whose mission is to destroy man kind ? ....maybe I dont even wanna know ! 8-O

  • this sci fi dud is a BLAST from 53. they couodnt afford a gorillas hread mask so the helmut came into place cheaply made poor acting but ive seen worst but not that good. ROBOT MONSTER oh brother. this horror film sci fi historian has seen it all. but its ok than the jUNK we get today with blood&gore f today. TOMKES I know my horror films. even this BOMB

  • #1 has to be the movie with a monster that looked like a huge roll of carpet that people crawled inside of.

  • So glad the clip finished. I was getting pretty scared!

  • "there is no escape from me, very well i will re-calculate"

    lmao WTF

  • Sounded like a member of Congress!

  • Oh my word....there's 32 movies that are worse than this?? :O

  • @Lboy926 yep, i know the diver's helmet and the monkey suit was what clued me in

  • robot monster is amazing! What this list should be picking on is MODERN cinema. This had some creativity and is very much of that era.

  • Actually, I think Robot Monster accurately summed up all the fears and confusions of the average 10 year old boy in 1957. It was the dawn of the space age, the atomic age and the cold war, and kids didn't know how to understand these things or what to be afraid of... it's really the kind of dream a kid would have had back then.

  • I couldn't take this seriously I couldn't stop loling at this crap!!!!!! >D

  • Unsuspected revelations of incredible horrors that will terrify you with their brutal reality!

  • You mean he tryed to kill himself and missed too?

    lol!

  • Aw Gee wiz !!! wad-ja have to go and do that for !!! LOL-LOL !!!

  • and this is ONLY the 33rd worst movie ever??? :D

  • Today the 1953 Robot Monster today turn out to be a collector item. Halloween is coming soon and it makes a excellent halloween costume.

  • I ncredibly Strange Creatures was made by Ray Dennis Steckler (AKA 'Cash Flag') He died recently! RIP Ray! If the 'costume' in robot monster wasn't funny enough... They used the SAME exact suit for the robot's commanding officer back on his home world! He even has a conversation with HIMSELF! Dr. Who borrowed that same cost-cutting measure 20 years latter in The Sontaran Experiment!

  • "Puny, Puny Humans...I am Ro-Man! Worship my superior intellect, or I will wipe you off the face of the planet!"

  • That is sooo funny! I have to add it to my fav's.

  • Wow it's like something like this shouldn't exist. We should all just pretend it doesn't exist

  • Robot Monster is awesome. I have the whole movie on my channel for anyone who wants to see it.

  • um ok., I see what you mean about the guy who killed himself.

  • Elmer Bernstein did the music for Robot Monster.

  • i heard about this movie. they ran out of money and the budget didnt allow them to rent a whole space suit from the costume shop. all they could afford was this dumb gorilla suit and space helmet. LOL ! No joke. heard this trivia years ago !!

  • I saw this in 1959, as a 6-yr. old...my ol' man used to scare the SHIT outa' me, imresonating the monster sounds...now I look at it, and see the young gal is quite de-lectable.....

  • its the new darth vader??? jajaja same voice

  • I saw this on "Creature double feature"when I was a kid in the 80's, and I almost cried laughing!

  • woohoo now I know what costume to make for next Halloween.

  • Why is there bubbles everywhere?

  • I've seen this movie, and it sure was the best movie for hangovers

  • i want to actually see this movie and others cos theyd be funny. like the old king kong movies.

  • I found it:

#1 The Incredibly Strange Creatures who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies.

  • I agreed with cinemysteria for the record about being bad even for the 50s.

  • The worst was something something something that died and became mixed up zombies.

Plan 9 from outer space is possibly the worst of all time.

  • Agreed

  • they cant help with the way they made the movie in 1953 they couldnt make very good movies

  • Its like someone smashed a tv on his head!

  • I thought this was just an episode of 'Lost In Space'..er.....or was that 'Gilligan's Isle'.

  • The director did NOT kill himself, that's just Hollywood myth. He lived to be 58, and went on from "Robot Monster" to direct OTHER, more forgettable movies like "Tia Juana After Midnite" and "The Cape Canaveral Monsters".

  • the derector killed himself

  • tbh i would be scared if that thing chased me :P

  • Showing this Saturday Midnight on Wolfman Macs Nightmare sinema,Ch.20, Detroit area

  • LOL!

  • im afraid to comment?

  • Careful, the robot monster knows where you live.
