  • Love Colin Towns on keyboard!

  • Wow!

  • Saw them 3 times with Torme, Gers can f**k off!

  • Went to this at Manchester Apollo .John McCoy's bass solo really made your bounce .He did a Little Richard number for the encore

  • by the time I saw them Bernie Torme had left the band-not happy!

  • Glory Road was a mind blower

    (and yes...they look/sound quite striking...)

  • Not only is this band a great rock band, with John McCoy up there, has there ever been a more visually striking lot.?

  • taped this on my little tv/cassette recorder :)

  • Truer words were never spoken!

  • @Dogboy27712 Well put!

  • scxc

  • aye its a brilliant track, used to love this band.

  • For my money this is the classic Gillan line up.

  • Bombay Rock with Janick was pretty cool!

  • Glory road is a cracker of an album,Sublime..

  • Here, here fella!!!

I reckon they should all get back together and do a 'Glory Road - whole album live' tour!

    Sure to be a sell-out....???!!

  • One of my personal favs. It rocks!

  • I saw them on 'mr universe' 'double trouble' tours, absolutely brilliant, just a pity gillan had to sell out for a purple reunion!

  • Nice but Man, Gillan is so sexy and cute!!!!!

  • saw them at the Victoria Hall in Stoke on many occasions including this year, used to be my favorite band at the time, thanks for the memories.

  • I saw them on the same tour at cardiff top rank, suporting them were budgie and white spirit. i think quartz also toured with them.

Indimenticabile.

  • Classic line up & if only Ian would try working w/ them again!

  • Thank you for the video,Ian Gillan well done here too!Peace and love...

  • Did Torme write this song?

  • saw Gillan in Coventry in 1980...man this takes me back !!! I'd forgotten how good they were...My ears were whistling on the bus on the way home... we were about 10ft away from John McCoys bass stack !!! great night.

  • yeah me too first band i ever saw

  • Saw them in 82 and McCoys bass blew out the cobwebs than as well.

  • Me too. First band. I saw them at Newcastle City Hall in '81. I was nine years old and my ears have been ringing ever since! \m/

  • Colin Towns is such an AMAZING pianist. Fully versed in jazz but equally at home in rock. What a band Gillan were!

  • Gillan ist der Beste,

    No Easy way..

  • I saw these guys in Folkestone on the album tour. The drummer's hands were busted and he was with us front row. I am so OLD!

  • First 90 seconds - bass, drums and keyboard... funky as fuck. love it.

  • One of my fav Gillan numbers.
