So, she was experiencing the feelings and sensations of a woman's body through the mind of a young girl...So, he was, and I'm speculating here...just being a bit dramatic but trying to firmly have her submit to being seduced...remember she said, "I can't rely on ... " I would imagine she was going to say "these feelings" or "these emotions" ... anyone else care to comment ?

Because every thing which is described in the book happenned or is about to. Philip K Dick was a visionnary. He died before the movie was released!,

This amazing, portent of a movie is more than just a cool look at a future of 40-year (by 1982 standards). It's a warning of what may have happened, and what can STILL happen (don't fool yourselves) if we slip too much. Imagine...all that we have gained for so many millennia...lost...because of the horrific ineptitude of a certain minority to see such wonderment, such accomplishments of a bizarre form of evolved-ape...utterly laid to waste for no real reason other than avarice. A NEW blade runner!!! Hoe hum.... I have two DVD box sets I got last year. One is the full set of Blade Runner the other the complete Prisoner series from the 60's. Now they made a new Prisoner series and I should think a 'New' Blade Runner will be just about as successful. It’s not just the music, it’s the Direction. Some films are just such a statement a new one just can’t match it. Good luck to the makers, but this one’s a classic.

To think, this movie almost didn't make it! Lack of funding & over budget. The beginning of the movie, we fly through exploding plumes of gas, pumped high above the city, and then to the rain socked city streets, accompanied by the hunting music of "Vangelis" When i first saw this movie on the big screen, the cinematography was ammazing and the sound track, BRILLIANT. Eaven with the new CGI or even the new tech, CGI3D can never top this movie. this movie was in real time, ON REAL SETS!!

As you watch, listen to voice inflections in harmony with the music~like when Pris says, "I'm hungry J.F." he says, "I got some stuff inside, you wanna' come in?" She smiles, "I was hoping you'd say that" innocently he turns to insert his house key into the lock and her face turns dastardly and the music spews out a lone french horn ... mimic to a howling cat ... way cool
