Interesting, these guys are canadian, I know which street this song is based off of. It's East Hastings in Vancouver. At any time of the day you go by there, there's countless addicts and homeless. :( Very sad, but puts this song into a new perspective.

I first heard this song while watching 28 Days Later and the combination of the haunting melody and the deep loneliness of the first part of the movie really hit me. No words needed to be spoken; it was all taken in immediately.

But now, I don't need the imagery of the movie to send a wave down my spine, especially during the last two minutes of the song. The raw instrumentals and heart pounding rhythm is enough to put a new euphoric image into my head.
