  • Heres how they make the processor, not just the card: watch?v=qLGAoGhoOhU&feature=related

  • Balls are sturdier and more reliable....lol

  • oh i wonder how human had got to this level of technology ...

  • Cpus are not the brains.

They are parts of a "brain"

  • how cpus are made: they receive the chips already made !!! wtf!!

  • 280p NooOOoooOOoooOOooo! wouldnt that be funny if the robotic arm "became aware" and started producing terminator processors? or caught a virus and started smashing them all?

  • @parasteve82 Since when is there 280p video quality???

  • lol at 1:01 he/she is wearing condoms on his/her fingers xD

  • sawwder ..

  • @MrInFAMOUSVideos

Mayne because she is american and they pronounce words differently :)

  • Comment removed

  • Why the fuck does she pronounce soldered, sodered

  • creepy documentary music

  • oh :( I wanted to see how the circuit was made.

  • This is not how a processor is made. This video is like explaining how a car is made but only talking about how they load it on a truck to take it to a dealership.

  • Because "BALLS are sturdier and reliable"

  • @1000Megaferrari LMAO was thinking the same thing! great/sick minds think alike

  • @1000Megaferrari She did say "Balls" with enthusiasm.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe from you, hopefully the others also are happy for You This video is an interesting clip explaining how an Intel processor is made. I found this to be very intriguing! I hope you think the same

  • I Love The Video It Can Increase My Knowledge This video is an interesting clip explaining how an Intel processor is made. I found this to be very intriguing! I hope you think the same. Comment and Enjoy

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing This video is an interesting clip explaining how an Intel processor is made. I found this to be very intriguing! I hope you think the same.

  • they put condoms on their hands? lol

  • Seeing the heatspreaders being printed with IBM does make it quite clear that its not an intel chip...

  • It's an FPGA chip, not an Intel chip. Nice though :)

  • Comment removed

  • then why i am spending so much money for one of them

  • Not intel. Intel doesn't use pins on their processors.

  • @toaster91111 They used to, socket 478 uses pins. The newer LGA XXXX ones have the pins already on the motherboard.

  • The robotic arms do it like nobodies buissness

  • Tin balls more reliable, did the xbox360 GPU use tin balls and when it overheated the balls melted and lost connection causing the red ring of death.

  • 1.000 connections??? More like 400.

  • Random thought: How bad that would be if an earthquake happened during production...some messed up cpu's

  • @deltafan909 Not just some... Maybe thousands of CPU's!

  • IBM, not Intel...

  • What happened to Tony Hurst? Who the hell is this cow?

  • 1:01 condoms............lol

  • they are not soldiered onto the motherboard!

  • thanks

  • Those are massive

    are they pentium 1?

  • So I can wash my CPU in water?

  • @myaccount140 ya shure ( idk)

  • Balls of Steel! ... i mean tin..

  • now i know why they cost so much XD

  • 240p we meet again

  • @TheAgg32, ive been see'in alot oof that lately

  • Since when is Flux sticky? Only thing it does is it makes soldering A LOT easier

  • @JumpStartPause You don`t solder anything right ? A flux for lead-free soldering is very sticky and smells sweet when heated. The only way to remove it completely after soldering is putting the pcb into an ultrasonic bath. At least that`s what I do.

  • sodder?? its SOLDER!

  • @mikmnet lol but that's how Americans say it.

  • what??? where is the part one two three of this video because this is just the last part of making a cpu

  • "Balls are sturdier and more reliable" Hihihihih :)

  • 6 minutes for showing how Intel put a chip on a substrate and how they put the cap on the processor ...

  • What does a cd have to do with an integrated circuit?

  • sh!t its how its made... i was serching for lego pc's...

  • It's not fair! America get all the interesting ones! Here in the UK, they show how a shoe lace is made or something. Mind you, we did get the zamboni episode once.

  • @tlaroche38 I seen this on Discovery Science like two weeks ago. I live in Scotland BTW.

  • Like Loking How Terminator Is Born

  • Because balls are sturdier..... :D

  • This is what happens when women decide to explain something technical instead of being in the kitchen.

  • @corvey I don't believe there are so many assholes like you.. All your friends? Moron.

  • @kokaiini At least she knows what the temperature of the oven should be. @ 5:10

  • Intel? Pretty sure this is the IBM CPU assembly plant in Bromont, Qc, Canada.

  • The yanks seem to get quite a dumbed down version of the program. Shame when you think about it.

  • 2:47 ... IBM processor

  • there is another video out there that does actually show how the cores are made. with different chemical baths and lasers n shit.

  • solder has an "L" in it....

  • nono, you've got it wrong. it's a microCONcessor if it's made by AMD.

  • 4:14 what socket is it?? lol

  • This video pisses me off. It's interesting enough I guess but "the factory receives the microchips ready made".. WTF is that all about? Show us the interesting bit.

  • @infoburp we're not allowed to see how alien technology is produced. Sorry. lol :P

  • i can't sway the feeling the narrator hasn't a clue what she's talking about.

  • COOL

  • What CPU are they making?

  • @Legoboss2727cp It looks like AMD Processors or IBM Power PC.

  • if they are made in such bulk then why are they so god damn expensive!!

  • @superclaw900 There is alot of rechecks and proffeshional staf required during the whole process Plus they need to pay the research for the technology and the architects that designed the microchips. In the end that makes it expansive. Not the material cost persé

  • ok for those of you that want to know. how its made did make a episode on how a processor its made and I watched it so I know that they start with something that looks like glass, forgot what it was, and then they PRINT the it with special stuff. but the point is THEY PRINT OUT PROCESSORS!! like you would print words on a page!

  • so we meet again 240p...

  • "Balls are sturdier and more reliable"

Reliable, perhaps. Sturdy? I'm not too sure about that. Lol.

  • @jice12

I install about 60 cpu's a week in one of the data center's I work at, since the release of balled cpu's I haven't had a single cpu fuck up.

  • @snedie69er Yeah, just fucked up MOBO's.

  • @LosNir

    Never had that yet.....

  • @jice12 it means they wont break as easily, dumbass lol..

  • @AntDX316 I can't believe how high over your head that joke flew.

  • @jice12 what do u mean

  • @AntDX316 It was a joke... 'Balls'?... Get it? I didn't literally assume that balls would be sturdy or not during factory processing. Way to be quick on the draw with the name-calling. Sheesh.

  • @jice12 well strudy is right cause it's wider so it won't break as easily, my claim on u being dumb is fortified

  • @AntDX316 Yes,but testicles aren't literally balls though y'know... Even if they were, you're severely ignoring the potential frailty of organic composition in contrast to metallic density. But they're not, so it's like, you still totally missed the joke, and just decided to namecall like a 6 year old. Lol.

  • @jice12 ur mentality in that sense then is of a 6 year old, lol

  • @AntDX316 Lmao. Right, yeah, because I'M the one who needs a simple and even tasteless joke to be excessively interpreted. Okay.

  • @jice12 I don't.. follow, am I the retard?

  • btw this is ibm power pc processors not intel all the chips say ibm.

  • The factory receives the chips printed and cut from a silicone wafer, if you wan't the information on the printing try searching for "silicone wafer production"

  • rename the video. "how intel processor is assembled"

  • @FritzDeGamer HA! Can anyone see the big IBM label? This is not Intel CPU assembly.

  • @FritzDeGamer If you make "this is how car is made", you do not show how the engine is built, just how the car is assembled from parts. This is my honest opinion, though.

  • This is most certainly not Sparta.

  • 64 have a AMD

  • how do they make quad cores?

  • actually no they were IBM chips... m'bad

  • what are those chips? at first i thought that theu were pentium 3's, but the pins are wrong... these look much older... anyone? P2? or even earlier? pre pentium?

  • 1:00 Finger Condoms!

  • this is a stone eage video. those CPU's are ancient obsolete junk. still good upload.

  • I don't think that's intel, it said IBM on the IHS

  • Comment removed

  • these are micro chips (chipset) not a processor

  • I can understand how you make recipes for let's say a pizza including dough..

Just try different amounts of water, flower and salt and things like that.

But how in godsname can someone come up with a 'recipe' to make a computer chip?

    I mean... WTF

  • HD Please !

  • how is the i7 made or the AMD 8 core CPU!? lol

  • Balls, Because Balls are more sturdier and more reliable. LOL she would know.

  • where was i when this was playing on how its made?!?!

  • Intel chips with an IBM logo? 2:47

  • 4:20-4:27 THATS WHAT SHE SAID LOL XD

  • 240p my old enemy!!

  • Thumbs up if minecraft brought you here!

  • Who cares ? The only chip that matters is the ARM.

  • Balls instead of Pins? Totally not more reliable. Ball Grid failure is an all too common failure in modern electronics. Xbox RROD being a good example.

  • Why are they wearing condoms on there fingers it may be delicate but Come on...

  • @ImAKillZoneFan probably to stop grease from the operators fingers from being deposited on the materials. with tolerances so tight its a major factor.

  • It's not at Intel, it's at IBM! =O

  • @XzTS Fujitsu actually. FC-PBGA is Fujitsu's. I also thought IBM or even early power chips.

  • @00101110o

Really?! O_o It looked like the IBM logo was printed on them

  • @XzTS the model matches the same on fujitsu makes as well.

  • They forgot about that they are made out of Many transistors -.-

  • 01:00 are they having a condoms on a fingers??? o.O

  • Suggested topic: how babies are made

  • @mBrooks95 well.. first , a daddy and a mommy love each other... then...

  • lol balls are sturdier and more reliable and go thru a suctioning sift

  • then overheating my processor at 80'c wont be a problem...

  • @VictorSinha666 it isn't. AMD generally shouldnt run that hot. But processors are meant to hit 90 degrees

  • @colinprprpr is it safe for the processor to run at 60 degree centigrade for 3 hrs daily....then can you tell me the lifetime of the processor please

  • @VictorSinha666 Yep. That is perfectly fine. It is meant to run at that temps for longer than that even.

  • 1937, um what about Charles Babbage who technically created the worlds first computer in the 18th centurty.

  • 125 degrees Celsius? How does that not ruin the CPU since most people get scared when it rises to just 80+ degrees Celsius?

  • i only care how fast it is

  • the UK format has a far better narrator...

  • a micro pro sessor lol

  • ok so this is pretty awesome and I thank you for the video but I'd rather have seen the actual circuit's being made.

  • @samulo787 it's all about data protection :)

  • @SiliconIce I know just joking.

  • Comment removed

  • All these "how chips/cpus are made" are always in shitty 240 or 360p. ironyyyyy

  • How about u show how the CORE is made

  • So my i7 2600K's balls are sturdy and reliable... hmmm keep that in mind

  • lol. it looks like they're wearing condoms on their fingers... XD

  • The factory receives the microchip already made.... YEA FUCK WE WANNA KNOW HOW THAT IS MADE!!!

  • @Ptro001 hahaha i thought the same thing, this is not how the made it, this is how they assamble it.

  • I am the only guy that finds the dull "How intel processor is made" that does not even contain anything about how the chip itself is made, just the fucking metal pins and silicone around it...? Thats annoying, misleading F***ers

  • Am I the only one who thinks automated production lines are fucking amazing?

  • "A Microu prousesour"

  • 1:25 factory receives micro chips ready made. So we don't see how they're made then?

  • @snomimons that's a micro chip dumbass not a processor.

  • @MrCHUCK5NORRIS pretty much the same fucking thing. I know how they make the interesting bit now.

  • @snomimons It is a printing process which they don't like to say where they print minimized light on Wafer to form them .

  • @almouloudi Yeah, I know that. I just thought it was pretty stupid that this video is titled "How the Intel Processor is Made" and that "The factories recieves the micro chips already made".

It's like wanting to see how they make an MP3 player but them showing you the bit where they package it instead.

  • @snomimons Yes so stupid title, you are right just I want to make you know more, if you found a video about this process let me see it soon .

  • @almouloudi Seach for a video called "From sand to chip - How a CPU is made" :)

  • @snomimons Does the resolution of video look professional .

  • @almouloudi no it's a bit shit. Conversation over. Everyone wanting to see how they make the chip search "From sand to chip - How a CPU is made".

  • Its not a AMD its a IBM

  • God bless How It's Made. I love the random shots of the product on a pedestal and the way the artist always signs his/her name after the line drawing sequences.

  • Now days intel = no pins (columns) on the cpu.

  • Now days intel = made in china

  • 4:20

    BOLLZ

  • @Thecrashoverride2010 Shes not for USA either, we have a dude

  • How to make microprocessor

    1. The factories recieves the micro chips already made

    Well.....

  • who made the processors in the robots then?

  • @Miles171717 haha great question
