Why would security and liberty be an exclusive choice? I'd think one cannot do without the other, as the Americans have proved in the last century. To me it seems the less free the Americans are (and it's less and less each passing year), the more dangerous their country is (both to others and for to live in).
@Torgo1969 I disagree, most people want liberty but small minorities of very determined people want to push their ideas of what society should be like on others. Until the rest of us become as determined to protect liberty as those that would take it away then they will continue to take it away.
