I think you aren't comparing apples to apples when you think of the STI and the A4. A4 is a luxury sedan. STI is almost a pure race sedan. The A4 was designed to be comfortable, whereas the STI was designed to be as fast as it could. I'd take a APR Stage III A4 over a 600HP STI any day. The A4, to me, just seems more adult. Not trying to offend you, btw. Just my opinion.
dude of course it would void the warranty, look at the K04 turbo kit at KMD Tuning website....it looks obvious but my mechanic wanted to do it for me for 10,000 bucks! it was the whole package though like KO4 turbo, clutch upgrade, Carbonio CAI, REVO stage 3 Software, Milltek Exhaust....by the way, with the package plan, it would hit more than the magical 300 hp....

I just put new injectors in the other day and had it dynoed on a Maha dyno which is the most accurate dyno and very stingy and i put down 275 hp and 318lb/ft of torque to the wheels. The car is an animal. I am having my APR program moddified to make more power right now. I will keep you all posted. I want to hit 300hp at the wheels.
what kind of exhaust, wheels, and are you on coils or springs? thanks

Besides from other mods, he has a K04 APR turbo kit, which boosts the engine to aproximately 298hp compared to stock 200hp.
