First off, before you base judgment on what I'm about to say, I'll let you know I'm white, conservative and a proud Texan. That being said, Mr. White did no wrong. He felt threatened and protected his family in the same manner that Mr. Joe Horn did when shot and killed 2 thugs outside his Pasadena, TX home. These kids where white, rich and spoiled who thought they could do whatever without consequences for their actions. If they hadn't been there in the first place, this would not have happened.

The kid was unarmed, that's where the shooter fucked up big time. Being on someone's lawn or driveway isn't a threat. The victim wasn't stealing anything or beating up the shooter's family so even aiming a gun at the victim was such a stupid idea. I don't know all of the details so I'm not going to say who is right or wrong in this one though.

White stands convicted, the sentence commuted. The guy that shot the burgles left his property to execute the law (vigilantly) was not charged. By either account of the shooting in the White case it was accidental. Swiping /reacting for the gun its hard to tell. My heart goes out to the poor guy that got shot
