Such a great cover! My mam loves this version of the Gardeners world theme - only just found out it was called Natural Elements and then fouund this cover :D Did you learn by ear? Loved it!
Fantastic. It's videos like these that make people want to start playing guitar. You guy's make it look so easy!
I had never heard of Acoustic Alchemy before right now and had just noticed the cool name and thought I'd search it. I don't even need to hear the actual song to know this cover is amazing.
Couold have listened to this for double the time. So relaxing. May I trouble you and ask how you recorded this it sounded so good and I can't see the mikes!!!
Still quite impressive, but today I listened to it thru my computer built-in speakers and it explains why I found it so good last time when I was wearing my Bose noice reduction headphones...:-)
This makes me smile as big as Texas....ear to ear. I stumbled on you while browsing other fine guitarists like Tommy Emmanuel, Stephen Bennett, Marco Porcu and others...what a pleasant surprise! There was nothing wrong with this version of the Gardener's World theme tune intro and they should have retained it for the duration of the run - in fact forever, it was simply enchanting from start to finish.
This is a favourite piece of mine and has been ever since it was first used as the theme tune to GW. The guitar lines were published in an edition of Guitar Techniques over 10 years ago (which I bought) and only this year have I started to learn it! Nicely authentic with both steel and nylon strung guitars, and well done to the lovely lady playing the ironing board. I have tried to play mine like that but just keep getting dull thuds. Great job - well done.
wow:) you guys are really good, i cant believe you haven't got a record deal. haha:D the ironing boards okay, it gives the video a warm feeing. haha! ur family is so talented! they're amazing.

To my uneducted ears this sounds pretty much spot on with the TV version. Very well done, good vid though the lighting was a bit weird, it doesn't detract from the music.

Your eyes are not deceiving you.
It is a 12 string with 6 strings on.
I play mainly classical guitar and the wider neck on the 12 string is more akin to what I am used to.
