Blue guy stuck him so it is a glitch.

And i stuck a guy in a warthog in sandrtap, and then they hit one of my teammates and the nade blew up killing everyone. triple kill betrayal and i got booted....stupid guy :(

You got the betrayal because you stuck the Brute Grenade in your teammates back and you got the suicide because it was your grenade and it blew up to close to you. There was no glitch in the game, you just fucked up. The suicide would be the same if you threw a grenade at your feet and was trying to die.

Look. The two reds were shooting at a blue guy. The blue guy threw a spike grenade which stuck to one of the red guys. One of the red guys shot the grenade mid-flight and for some reason the game thought the grenade belonged to the red guy because of it. So when the grenade blew, the game thought the red guy betrayed the red guy beside him and killed himself with a spike grenade.

i think you got the betrayal from your teamate cause he was stuck and was near you but i dont know why it said suicide...

havent had this problem yet, but i know it was there in halo 2. we were playin shottys and a buddy of mine threw a nade and i shot it in the air and i suicided

Something similar happened to me once, although I don't know how. Me and a teammate were up in the laser tower when some enemy comes jumping up. Something explodes and I get a betrayal, but I was aiming away from the fusion cores, and I was using the AR only...

Another time, I was running around with dual Spikers and it claims I "stuck" someone just before I got my first kill ever with those weapons... Must've been the same thing that caused this?

when a grenade is in the air sometimes a glitch will accur so that when someone shoots it , it will register that if they had threw it at that person - in this case it was thrown to a teammate by an enemy - u shot it - therefore it registerd as that u threw the grendade and so it killed him and u counting as a team kill and sucide :)

his happens in halo 2 also with sticky grenades but rarely because they worked on it more......but yeah when they throw a nade try not to shoot it while its in the air..,,unless its going to someone else thats not on ur team because sometimes it will give u the kill...(

Strange, but in Halo 2 I have seen obvious betrayals called nothing.....
