Hey man. I'm kinda new to the filmmaking side of things and just wanted to ask what kind of adapter ring and whatnot you're using? Did you get all the stuff you need (except the DOF adapter) in a kit?
About $100 from Ebay. A great way to get started with DOF. Mine is static which is why there is some more 'noise' and grain in the picture, but as I also shoot on real 8mm film cameras I like this look.
I just ordered this adapter for my hv20! needless to say, after watching this footage im even more excited for its arrival. I'm going to be using a Canon FD 50mm manual focus lens. I will be happy if my footage comes out this way. I can only imagine the quality footage after some colour correction!

@natg900 It's called a MINY35 and I used a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens
