Hey there! I am one month natural with a twa. I'd purchased the products in your vid! However, I ran into a slight prob... I cowash my hair with the Herbal Essence. Then, add the leave in Cantu Shea Butter and and the Ecostyler Olive oil together prior to the twist out and it LEAVES an awful RESIDUE instead of the moisture I would like to go for on YOUR vid. @Mladybug06 Hey from my experiences with Cantu Shea Butter, you can't mix it the two products.However, if your are looking for a good leave-in, I would try the Giovanni Leave-In (Target) or the off brand Paul Mitchell Products (sally's) with the Ecostyler. That's what I found works for me, I hope this helps.
I can tell that you are confident. What a good example for those who maybe feeling less confident about their big chop. This is how i felt when I BC (cut of at least 12 inches of healthy hair-did not even transitioned). But now, my confidence level has increased so much. But you are rocking it, and I know your hair is so long and beautiful now since this video is over a year old. I would love to see what it looks like now!
Make-up isnt something that should make you feel pretty. In my opinion Black Women are Naturally Beautiful, and make-up does not add to but rather hides a woman's true beauty.
I do not like using the Olive oil Ecostyler gel on my hair. I will use it on the front if I am putting a head band on, but it does not do well on the rest of my hair.

I just did the big chop two days ago and with the help of my beautician, I've finally figured out what to do on the make-up tip! It doesn't take much to make a style work for you if you are determined to MAKE IT WORK! :)

When you do your "wash n go" how long does it usually take get the gel through your entire head? My hair is sooo thick and it seems like I always miss certain spots. Thanks...
@Mychaele I section my hair in 4 and then shingle the gel thru in smaller sections so when i do that i never miss any spot and it normally takes about 15 mins...now that is longer i rarely do wash n gos tho... jus twist outs!

@DinoO971 Thank you... Cantu Shea Butter is a product by "CANTU"...its just a shea butter lotion that stops breakage and helps keep ur hair soft and manageable...great product. :)

Eco Gel does not work for me. I tried it once and I experienced a lot of shrinkage and dryness.

Please explain the process of using Cantu & Eco together... Cantu doesn't seem to work with too many products. Your hair looks great by the way.

@arl10144 I dnt mix cantu and ecostyler gel... it makes little white flakes. I use one or the other at a time....

@DinoO971 Thank you... Cantu Shea Butter is a product by "CANTU"...its just a shea butter lotion that stops breakage and helps keep ur hair soft and manageable...great product. :)

I started my big chop last night-I am halfway through the process but now I feel like I never should have cut my hair!! lol. I love being natural but how do I deal with the shock of having short hair? Did you have any doubts and if so how did you deal?? I love you videos btw :))

@technicolor87 This is my third time going natural. so i was prepared for the drastic change... i jus deal with my hair being short now bc i kno what the bigger picture is... and thats long thick healthy hair in the future. to me, short hair right now is worth it. Thank you!

I am so new to all of this. My hair looks SUPER DRY almost always! I am not putting enough mositure on my hair and I don't know how to "shingle" my curls as you posted in here. Can you tell me step by step how to do it? lol .... told you I was a "baby". I guess my next search on here is for "shingle"?? :-) You look absolutely beautiful!!
