  • THE ARCTIC FUCKING MONEYS

  • would bennett 6.0 trucks work well for this?

  • i culd win u in a game of skate

  • i culd do better tricks den dat cus ima get sponsered by plan B or Almost i dunno wich to choose

  • @TheWalkingDead4 want a cookie?

  • what truck is better for pumping, randal 150 or paris 150

  • hey i ordered my sally about 2 and a half months ago from LBL and he's kinda not sending it for some reason and he won't return my calls... i'm starting to think he ripped me off.

  • Is the salamander durable? is yours still holding up well? worth the money?

  • chris bismillah is my hero

  • If the LBL salamander, Loaded ceviche & Loaded pintal were all the same price...

Which would you buy? (Loaded are available in my country, but I would need to ship an LBL deck over here to New Zealand).

  • @Mezanine3 Ceviche

  • sweet video

i have paris 150s and purple 4prez on my ceviche so i would only hav to buy the deck

  • Nice red authentics how are they for longboarding

  • i already got the dervish but i want to get a smaller size flexy board for cruising.

i cant decide to get the salamander pintail or tan tien!!

help? or any other flexy small boards..

  • For commuting on flatland, which would you guys recommend on the Salamander?

Randal 180 or Randal 150? What are the pros and cons of each? Im quite new to longboard but I'm looking into getting the Salamander

    thanks

  • @dobie007 If anything get 150s but I wouldn't recommend Randals for this board. Either Paris 150s or Charger 9" 's; they'll give you a way smoother pump, rebound, carve.

Don't go with a bigger truck it will just get in your way, ruin your turns, and just adds excessive weight to lug around on such a small board. Sticking with a smaller truck is just appropriate for this board.

  • @jasonsraisins are bear 852's fine?

  • can you get this in different flexes?

  • @AKlalaLOVE I can't tell you exactly, 'cause I haven't seen different flexes on this board yet, but try asking Larry if that's possible, I'm sure he can make something work for you, doesn't sound like much of a problem

  • @ Jasonraisins,

thanks man ya i went that way to

i dont lik the 4 prez, it sticks to much when trying to slide, cant wait to get them!!!

  • hey guys! nice video! i have that same board!

ok well i had uno question????

    which wheels are bbeettter?

    - Purple stimulus or the purple 4 prez?

    and help would be thanks!

oh and keep the videos coming! so stoked!

  • there the same hardness just 4 prez are 75mm and stims are 70mm

  • but stims have rounded edges which makes it better for freeriding and sliding and 4prez have square lips so its better for carving

  • ya stims are like already broken in

  • in my opinion stimulus is the way to go. I just LOVE the way they feel when they let go for the slide way more than 4 prez. and even when carving hard or not they feel the same. otang stims ftw

  • i was wondering i weigh 120 so would it be very flexy for me

  • when we filmed this video, I weighed 165. it depends how flexy you like it. but watch when I'm on the board and just try to pinpoint imagine how flexy it'd be for your weight....

  • ok thanks i just dont want it to be like the soujourn i just lika little flex

  • does this board have any concave?

  • @kurtybird1020 if anything it has the slightest bit of concave, but the camber really numbs it out

  • at 0:38 this move is just simply stupid sweet.

  • that whole combo is some serious steeze

  • HAHAHAHA

i have your dream board :)

  • Hey man how do you think the salamander would handle a bowl, too flexy? or would a ceviche be better/more stable for that kind of skating

  • the salamander could definitely handle a bowl, but the disadvantage it has is that the tail/nose are not scooped up enough for your ideal bowl skating. the ceviche is better at that because it has a scooped tail like a skateboard. these two boards are different in the way that the salamander is more of a carver/pumper and the ceviche is more of a skateboard.

  • dude im so excited just ordered this board last night hoping it comes sooooon =)

  • nice!!

  • Would you know if Larry still have them? cos i've been to order one and i dont know if i still should, kinda scared there might be none in stock. ahahaha.

  • Yeah it still says on the site that he still has them in stock. Let me know if it doesn't let you buy a deck, I can find out.

  • Ordered one! I hope it makes it all the way here to the Philippines in tact. :))

  • To Derek, I also have the salamander and trust me the making of this video amongst many a sessions thie board has been flipped, scraped, pumped, flexed, and even driven into the sidewalk. I used to skate a little softer after my board would tLk a blow but with this deck I'm able to hop righ back on and pump away into a Casanova or big spin or whatever. I even think i started apologizing to the curb more than to the board.

  • lol nice flight of the conchords reference i love them

  • LOVE EM

  • hey great vid but im wondering bout the salamander. Im questioning the overall life expectancy of it. maybe sagging or posibly easy breakage bc of the flex

  • hey man,

the board's made from bamboo and fiberglass, Larry says this board is indestructable, despite the crazy amount of flex. I've stood on this board many times in one place jumping on it and bottoming it out repeatedly, and I haven't heard any cracking or splitting at all. And hey, if you snap yours anytime soon after you buy yours, I'm sure Larry can take care of you =)

  • oh and to add to that, I've had my board for months now, and the only damage I see on it is from it flipping over and hitting things, nothing to do with cracking or splitting. this board's TOUGH and not a joke, from what I see

  • haha thanks that sounds like a solid board im excited to get one now all i need is money

  • 0:40 game over! no contest! hahahhaha KOYS for life!

  • Well put Jase

  • Dude, this video is SO SICK! 5 stars This completely changed my opinion that the ceviche might be the best shortboard. Just wondering what do you and the other KOYS prefer?

  • thanks!! well you know, it's all PERSONAL preference, we all have different riding styles. for example some of us like to do more skateboard tricks on shortboards, some don't. you'll just need to find out about how each shortboard rides and see which you'd enjoy the most =]

  • I'm guessing you're one of the few in the world right now who can say that you've ridden both, since LBL hasn't released many salamanders quite yet. differences? i.e. size, flex, weight etc

  • to consider there's the Bustin Sojourn, LBL Salamander, Loaded Ceviche. the Sojourn that's out right now is a lot stiffer and has one hellof a kicktail, and is 33". the Ceviche's 33" of bamboo but is also stiff and has the tail that resembles a skateboard's. and the Salamander is 33" of FLEXY bamboo, not stiff at all, and doesn't have any skate-features to it. you can see these boards all are very different so you're gonna have to try them yourself and see for yourself!

  • dude you go to SLO!? I'm trying to transfer there next fall from DVC! praying I get in, good stuff! :D
