I suggest getting something called Droid Explorer.... You can then install things onto your phone much easier... all you have to do is plug your phone into your computer. Open the program and click "batch install" then choose which apk file you wanna install.

i never use the 1.5 keyboard now that i installed this, it's awesome and the numerical keypad is mint for txt'ing. i barely ever use the hard keyboard now, pity android doesn't have a keyboard like this in it by default. the market ones are poo.

Do I just need to download the zip file for this, put it on my SD, rename it update, and boot in android utility and when screen shows up do Alt+S? Same as any other update for a rooted phone or is it different for this?

to get the auto correct on the hard KB, all you have to do is double click on the text field while the keyboard is out
