Joe buddy, you fucked this 1 royally! This is an example 2 why they should bring replay into a decision like this. I have been a boxing fan for many years. I also think that if Roy Jones Jr had not been wrongly DQ'd in his first fight with Motel Griffin (Spelling?) we would of seen a whole different Jones in the rest of his career. Roy had the tools 2 B the best of his generation if not of all time but he is also one of those guys when they hit a rough patch they seem to never recover mentally.

Boxers are taught to finish they're combinations even if their opponent is going down. A glancing, well not even a glancing blow and he DQed him for it? Really?
That little punch wouldn't of hurt him much, Joe Cortez has many bullshit controversial stoppages that Cortez is no longer a credible referee.

I hate cortez he fucks up good fights he stops boxers momentum, if a fighter likes to work on the inside then forget it you might as well through in the towel before the fight starts! Always was a terrible ref, always was politically appointed by Commissioner friends like Hazzard in NJ and the Nevada boys. Blew this fight and tells you how many political appointments he has refereed, who cares Joe, you screwed up. Just like he did when he left a boxer injured on the canvas unattended. Total bum, you can hardly understand him with his fast blurbing street speech.
