  • sorry but nothing about that impressed me - cannot follow lines, bad cutting, bad tools >< would hate to think of the corners you cut while making these things

  • @gunnugg The guitar is amazing and the reason the old guitar co.s dont make them is because it's harder to do and if you dont reinforce the neck properly you can get into trouble - Carbon fiber rods were developed long after the guitar mfg.s got into their jigs and factories - I eibforce everything so it will never move and is more stable then a glue on gibson or bolt on fender - thanks though for your interest but you dont understand ol boy .

  • just a little helpful advice if its ok , you could do with a wider blade on the band saw it ll cut straiter.

  • You do realize that while you may get a little extra sustain by making it out of 1 piece of wood the guitar itself will be incredibly weak and will most probably warp very soon. There is a reason why manufacturers make neck thru's and such out of 3-5 pieces of wood and why they make the necks with a scarf joint.

  • @TheXxPSYCHO you would be right ol boy if the neck rods were not super strong ! you must reinforce the neck under the finger board .

  • Can I have your scraps? LOL I'm diggin' your work, my friend! Keep it up!

  • That was kind of terrifying to watch. I'd love to see and hear the finished product.

  • How is this guitar coming? I decided to build my own one piece out of Douglas fir 2x4s... not EXACTLy one piece but I glued them up and cut them out as if they were.

The point is that at least the neck and bridge are on the same piece of wood. Oak fretboard painted black since I can't afford nice woods right now. Wish me luck!!

  • @john814ce Your an antiquated old man in your perception yesteryear antique guitar enthusiast with no skills - Kiss my Axe !

  • did you finish this guitar?

  • Wow! That was very cool! How did you finish it, because it couldn't fit all the way in the bandsaw no? It must be super-heavy aswell?

  • that is some funny way of doin things.good luck!

  • Dude, you sawed right through your line, and for crying out loud, tie that hair back. Major saftey hazzard.

  • Yeah - Ha ! I know it ?! I just drew it on their way large because I will shape it by hand !I have so much more shaping to do - I cut them always alittle too big because as you know you can always take more off but you cant put it back on ! Safety ?!?! Your probably right ! Thanks !

  • @LUKE82603 Although most people where I am who are commenting on a dude with hair are neds who pay a days wage to have a bit of yellow added to their lifeless fringe, I feel that in this videos comments alot of people might have long hair like me and simply be worried that the dude risks losing it.

Also, take away those caps, try not be rude yourself!

  • @TonyAab . First off, I was commenting to someone else making rude comments about you, so lighten up there Sparky. Your comment has no meaning. Almost like you were all methed out or something. GET TO THE POINT bc your sounding like TERRY Shavio. Anyway, Nice work !@

  • Nice sharp blade and a steady hand..
