Was this on SESAME STREET? I don't remember this! What season? {By the way - I VAGUELY remember he was in a movie where he was in the electric chair. Does anyone know the name of the movie?)
It's a shame that he happened to be HIV-positive when he died, people are always going to say he died of AIDS whether it was a seizure or not. But how someone dies is only a very little thing...look what a talent he was.
Wow. I remember this. I think he's a great dancer. If he was alive and was on, "Dancing with the stars". I would vote for him in a heartbeat. And He's One Heck Of A Singer Too. and it's good to know that he's up there with some of the best people from, music, movies, and tv. R.I.P Micheal Jeter. I hope you're showing some of the celebs how to dance.
I agree with drunkjesse. I did not know this existed. I love it. This is probably my favorite Ernie song besides Rubber Duckie. Whenb was this on Sesame Street. I think I would have remembered it. RIP MR Noodles's brother.
Wait wait wait... what?! What is this? I mean, I've seen the original, and I know who Michael Jeter is, but why was this particular video created? He's got the Sesame Street sheep and everything, so clearly this wasn't just something he made for the internet.
Was this actually on Sesame Street? And if so, why? I've never seen any other random actors doing covers of "Rubber Duckie" or "Visit the Moon" or anything.
Yes, this was on the actual show because I remember it on TV and also, there were also random people doing covers of famous songs: Little Richard did a cover of Rubber Duckie, Ernie sang "Visit the Moon" with Aaron Neville, Marilyn Horne did C is For Cookie, and there was also a version of Monster in the Mirror with different celebrities.
Some sites say Mr. Jeter died of AIDS. But I can't figure out if it was HIV or AIDS. Anyway, he was a great and hilarious actor. He will always be remembered no matter what.
I love this Mecheal Jeter rules. I like Bill Irwin as well have you got any videos. Of Micheal and Bill together as Mr Noodle and Mr Noodle's brother Mr Noodle on Elmo's World.
love that song really...i sing it in my mind...i'm michael jeter's fan..thanks so much for posting this..really..ohh if he was still alive..he's great
Charming! Michael Jeter was a very elegant dancer. His was a once-in-a-lifetime performance in GRAND HOTEL on Broadway. He seemed like a lovely person also.
Not really. Bill is taller with more hair, and his is red.
I don't think rendition of the song is as good as Ernie's, but it's certainly better than that odd animated version. And more of this would have certainly been a much better use of Jeter's time than doing "Elmo's World". I wish I knew how much he, Bill, and Kristen have actually enjoyed doing that.
I don't know what you mean, street66, 'cause when I see The Polar Express, after all the credits, it says "Dedicated To Michael Jeter", so maybe The Polar Express was his last thing he did. Not whatever you thought.

I'm absolutely certain that he wasn't in Jurassic Park* (though I could be wrong), but I agree. It's just not the same without Bert. :<
