Airsoftguns are to unreliable and to much garbage to worry about, thts why o sold my 5 GBB:s i had. You cant even shoot them outdoors because of the wind. Real powderguns have consistent shot after shot and not much of anything to worry about more than rust and maybe a jam here and there. The only advantage is the ammo is cheap in airsoft, those 6mm bb:s.

I'm not sure a .50 BMG would be able to eject from the regular small size AR ejection slot, as the .50 BMG is over twice as long as the 5.56 NATO round. Maybe they are referring to the .50 Beowulf round.

I'd look into this.

@dtfgator2 no the upper reciever being talked about is the tactilite 50. It s made as a single round bolt action rifle OR a side mounted mag on the UPPER receiver. the buffer tube is empty and the actual firing mechanism is contained in the bolt.

Its actually really simple and in reality is a great product for servicemen and women as it can turn a standard AR into an Anti material rifle without having to carry two guns.

OMG xD wow at the .50bmg bolt action upper for ar15 lower receiver. what hes talking about is the tactilite .50 upper receiver. I actually started this SAME project on a A&K M4 lower receiver I had lying around and a warrior 1 type96. its extremely easy to make the upper reciever, especialy with CNC machining. might try a gas ver. myself now. and yes an 8mm shell eject ver is in my plans. i live in california so who knows i might have a market for myself here, no shipping over seas from me xD

@NickDenning3 agreed an 8mm sniper would be greatly appreciated by the airsoft community. Given that 8mm can give us the weight and accuracy needed for longer shots than most aegs.

Real thing costs ALOT more. I just went target shooting again yesterday & spend over $100 in an hour of shooting. I only rented 1 pistol, had one with me, bought 1 box of .45 ammo, and rented 1 lane.

If you want to train with airsoft pistol it cost sooo much less. You can set up your own corse in your backyard & ammo is like $10 for 5,000rounds.

Listen im going to make it short, we take this as a sport and a form to train. Its something we can also go around and joke with, you cant joke with a gun. Even though we joke we are serious about these and we take good precatuions to stay safe. If you dont like it why are you watching?

@kind18cch Thats not true. There are different gun classes. In standard class, you are not allowed to have reddots, longer inner barrels and other tunings. So you can do Standard Class IPSC with an 60USD GBB gun if you want to. The Open Class is where money is a factor.

@ScaarAT Well.....so far that I've done my calculation, it's still pretty much consistent and suggested that no matter what, Airsoft IPSC race pistol is always 10 times cheaper than the real one in comparison to the same model......

Check out all those real race pistol from Brozos, SVI, STI, and Limcat. See the price and you'll reach the same conclusion as I have..... ^_^
