As much as I love "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" & "Angel", I really love this song! It took me a long time to find it so I thank Moviesoundtrack1 for adding this. I just got finish watching BtVS S. 7, ep. 7, "Conversations With Dead People" on Netflix & it reminded of this song. They sometimes credited it to Spendid which is what got me so confused when I was trying to download this song. Thank you for making it easier. I'm reading both comic series at once (for BtVS & Angel). They're awesome!!!

I have an idea and I think it's a good one. Joss fans should start Mutant Enemy on-line TV. We would pay a monthly fee that would go directly to Joss to do whatever he wanted. That way we wouldn't have to hold our breath every time he creates something great as the networks (also known as The First Evil) hold their axe above the neck of his genius. We would own the work collectively! Could you imagine a whole TV internet-network of Joss?!

@mitmfan actually, if you watch the episode with the commentary, they state that it was because of other commitments. That was a question that was brought up, but never had to be 'answered' because of her unavailability.

@mitmfan just repeating what they had said on the commentary :) Marti Noxon had wrote the Willow/Cassie scene and had talked about it all in the commentary. I know imdb states Amber didn't want to come back as a villian, and Marti mentions that as well as how she was off somewhere doing stage performances, and wouldn't have been available anyway. Doesn't matter anyway, the episode was awesome, one of the best in all 7 seasons. :)

I like how at the end of the episode all 3 of them were left with some kind of doubt.....Buffy whether or not spike has really gone bad again,Dawn that buffy will just abandon her when it's all said and done, and Willow that they'll even be able to defeat the First.

@GenerationKas it would be cool to see the comics made into a TV series or a movie, but David Boreanaz, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and probably a bunch of the other actors would never come back. The reason that those comics were made in the first place was because the actors quit the shows.

Actually it was the networks that screwed that all up, according to Joss Whedon S6 of Angel and S8 of Buffy were originally written as screenplays for the shows and when the networks canceled the shows they decided to just adapt the screenplays into the comics.

@moviesoundtracks1 Either way, it's been way too long since the series ended, most of the actors have moved on and wouldn't come back if they could. Boreanaz is doing Bones, Hannigan is doing How I Met Your Mother, Gellar is doing movies and raising a kid, and most of the rest have either moved onto other projects or aren't acting anymore. There's just no way they would come back, the only way to make a new series would be with new actors, and that would just suck.

That's what happened for Ats' S6 (they knew they were cancelled while working on Underneath - Ats 5-17), but Sarah Michelle Gellar wasn't willing to keep acting as Buffy. She said she would stop after a seventh season. I think I read that somewhere ^^"

@TheRocketSummerFTW Xander wasn't in it because the First didn't see him as a threat. The people that were focused in the episode were the greatest threats to the First. Buffy, Buffy's sister, Willow and Spike.

@KalikaInLeather Dawn was a threat because she was Buffy's sister...which is why i said "buffy's sister" not "dawn". It was the Firsts attempt at getting at Buffy. Everyone the First attacked that night was in some way a mystical being...The Vampire, The Witch, The Slayer, The Key. Seems simple to me...

At that point Dawn was no longer The Key, The First was going after her to try and weaken Buffy. The First already knew that Dawn was vulnerable because she felt insecure abut herself and her place in the group(this is why Xander has a talk with her about how important she is), so The First preyed on that by making her believe Buffy would betray her when it all came down to it, so Buffy would be vulnerable if Dawn tried to play the betrayal card.
