Luigi is one of the most important characters from nintendo. How he possibly not be in this game? The principal nintento game... without luigi? Thats completely imposible and its something that Miyamoto willn´t accept. I also dont think Luigi will be a costume for Mario. In all Smash Games, luigi have been a playable character. Nintendo must be crazy to take out luigi from a game like that!

well I got no prove but luigi is not a clone in melee. remember all star match deluxe in events in melee. it showed all clones although idk why it had ganondorf. even though he is going to appear in brawl. luigi was in all star match 4. that was the for the secrets characters that are not clones

And?? That's really NO evidence to be honest, since Melee was made back in 2001, before they even though about brawl. That doesnt mean anyting. And Luigi's costume is an alternate for Mario's (not that that means anything either, but saying).
