3 things i like the most about this new game.

1) they've now included the ability to fight UNDERWATER!!!

2) they have an all new boss

and

3) we finally get a chance to play monster hunter again (haven't been able to play it since monster hunter original went offline

They weren't put in the game. Dual Swords, Gunlances, Bows and Hunting Horns are out. In an interview it was supposedly to focus on the other weapons to add depth.

It depends really. I would say MW2 and the like are just gimped versions of their PC counterparts, so I wouldn't count them.

The only others I can think of are FFXIII (which is great if you're interested in them) which I can't get in to. GoW looks good. They don't match the first party Nintendo titles (Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Metroid, etc.) to come to the Wii though, in my opinion.

Cant wait till the release! I really enjoyed how some of the graphics improved from the previous games. The monster has a smoother organic look instead of the whole polygonal types. The last monster if freaking huge though big enough to swallow that ship with the hunters on it.

This is bigger, epic, and more fluid the way they hold big weapons than the monster hunter that we get for the psp... Online play is more necessary on the Wii for this game although Capcom may make users pay for theirs hence the reason there was no infastructure for the PSP vrsn and still none.

Yup, anyone wanting to use a traditional controller just to play this game totally invalidates the existence of the wiimote/nunchuck. TW10, Grand Slam Tennis, Wii Sports Resort and Red Steel 2 are all going to suck now after playing MH3 with a classic controller.

You must use your impressive ability to determine the successfulness of video game controllers based off their usage in Monster Hunter games for good and not evil. Now go quickly! For the good of the world!

The wii has really gone down hill over the past year, wii motion plus is, well a scam it makes next to non difference, Nintendo had an appalling E3 even the biggest nintendo fanboys can admit that, the future looks bad at the moment, no good exclusives. Although i am a monster hunter fan.

The future doesn't look bad thanks to Metroid (2010), Zelda (2011) en Galaxy 2 (2010) coming to the Wii. The E3 (not the presentation) was a lot better then that of the year before because of these games (Wii Music, Animal Crossing VS these kind of games :P). And of course Silent Hill, The Conduit, Crystal Bearers, Monster Hunter 3, The Grinder, Spore Hero, Red Steel 2, NMH2, NSMB..etc. Maybe the future is still bad in your opinion, but a lot better with all these great games.

Metroid is poor, Zelda granted is fantastic, Wii music was so bad it was unbelievable, animal crossing is OK, Unless silent hill pulls something out the bag it's doomed, the last couple of games have been very average, The conduit was soooo disappointing, Spore was disappointing, And Red Steel was one of the worst wii games so far...(Y)

Red Steel 2 looks totally different and isn't even out so you can't judge. And Metroid is poor? You mean 'Other M'? Animal Crossing and Wii Music where from the E3 2008. That was a poor line-up. 2009 looks way better with all these games. I have a whole video about the upcoming Wii games.

Bugthunder - Metroid never interested me in the first person mode, it was cool like the old style scroller. I have played the conduit i bought it and was very dissapointed.

Stef - C'mon though you've got to admit wii has slowly being growing less strong over time, it did have the worst e3 this year of the three brands, wheter you want to admit it or not.

I do like the wii don't get me wrong, it has some really fun games and good ideas, mario kart, smash bro's things like that are awesome fun!

I agree that the 'presentation' of the E3 was bad but the 'games' where much better. Wii Music+Animal Crossing VS Galaxy 2+Other M+NSMB. And the Wii was going downhill but now a little uphill with all these games coming out. Silent Hill, MH3, FF:CC, Grudge, Fragile, Dragon Quest X, RE: DC, Tales of Graces, Zelda, Red Steel 2, Grinder. 2007 was not that great for the Wii and 2008 was just bad with too many holes in the line-up. 2009 is certainly better. Just take a look at my recent Wii video.

Its kind like a MMORPG

You kill monster and take pieces of them.

And build Weapon and Armor out of them.

Monster have some capacity so if you build a weapon from the bones of a Electric Dragon your weapon will be more effective versus some type of monster but weaker versus on other.

You need to Gather Herbs and Minerals too and do quest for poepel in town.

And you can do online play with friend to attack Really big monster.

You can set up trap too or bait.

Really complex game.
