I'll help out everyone that came here to actually learn something. Damn good starting point for a drift tune is around -2.5 camber front and around 0 in the back. And your rear springrate should be around 100lb softer than the front.

in a simpler way

AWD car, camber front: no more than 3.0 Camber rear: at least 4.0. Soft anti roll bars front and read, soft springs front and rear, soft rebound and bumb stiffness, if any wing or bumper, all for speed. Torque focused on the read, usually 60+.

That is my tuning tip. I litterally tune cars good in about less than a minute. If i really want it at its best (usually my main multiplayer car) i do spend time testing and tuning.

Guys, regarding the race weight reduction that was installed, I don´t know how in depth forza 4s physics go but in real life it´s always a good idea to leave in the passenger and rear seats when drifting or track racing because it evens out weight disrubution, the race weight reduction however removes those components, the sport weight reduction however does not, so regarding these changes I don´t think that the race reduction is a good idea for this.

tuning realy isnt that hard, and every1 has a diferent tuning style so to speak, ex: i use street tires and about 265+ tires in rear and about 235+ in front, and camber is up to u along with spring pressure i use about 760 in front and 540 in back, its realy all on ur style of drifting, and points drifters suck :D haha had to add that.

putting wider tyres on a car and more grip is not good for drifting, keep the stock tyres, them wheels are made for racing, this is all wrong...

@Rycorpse It makes your car get more grip in the back and that's which makes the car faster drifting through corners. Stock tyre width is way too loose.... Putting wider tyres on the back doesn't even make your car too grippy you can barely feel the difference. It's just too gain more speed in the corners while being in a drift.

@Rycorpse Drifting is about what works best for you. I've bought some of the high point tunes, top rated and so on and some of them work and some don't. The BMW I tuned for rivals was in the top 1% and I am sure if you saw the tune you would call me a raving loon but it works for me. Should try it before you knock it.

@Pellinator1 Single turbo has less turbo lag versus twin turbo. Turbo lag is when the turbo's do not work until they spool up to a certain RPM which means they do no deliver power at lower RPM's

Ok, then what about subtitles. From what I saw on the DL you have a pretty good english so it might not be a problem.

I personally have no real problem tuning my cars (except maybe heavy cars) but I'm interested of why you'd choose a part over another one and how you decide how much power a said car "should" make to be able to drift right + its always interesting to see different ways of tuning.

@waider i've been drifting for a while now and i've learned from some friends a good formula for finding out a sufficient amount of power for a car. you take the total weight of the car and divide it by 5 to reach a nice amount of power (sometimes it helps to go a little over that number). an example would be a 2500 lb car (2500/5=500hp) and it never hurts to add a few more horsepower to this. i also keep all my cars under 650 hp though but thats just personal choice.
