  • how much power is this putting out now?

  • sorry bud but this is a procharger. same thing (almost) as supercharger except its belt driven and in the serpentine system. what are the stats on this (boost, ft lbs gains?)

  • @rangerrunner11 actually sorry but procharger is a brand and all superchargers are belt driven

and just so you know there are many different styles of superchargers this one just haveppens to be centrifugal

  • @gearhead847 read my comment again - "and in the serpentine system" a by definition supercharger is belt driven on an independent system that is connected to the serpentine but not actually part of it. I call it a procharger because what do you call a tissue for a runny nose? A kleenex though it may not actually be a kleenex brand tissue....same thing..only different haha

  • i need a super charger for a 1991 ford ranger xlt 3 liter any one have any super chargers to recomend?

  • how long did it take you to intall this kit?

  • @123donmaster Took about 2-3 hours to get it all sorted out. Quite simple, the fuel lines were the most difficult part.

  • Does Paxton make a kit for the 4.0OHV?

  • This is the kit for the OHV. They're no longer in production and haven't been for a long time now. You'll find the odd kit on ebay every now and then.

  • Damn. I really want one for my 97. I already got my exhaust done, I need a cold air intake too to even out the tune a little.

  • will the tuning chip be compatible with 98 and newer models? i wonder if you could fit that unit on a newer ranger with some mods. have you compared your harnesses to a new ranger?

  • i need one for a 96 3.0 ranger did whipple make one for my year?? help please

  • Think you're out of luck there. The whipple was only produced for the newer 3.0L's I'm sure with a little fabrication and a custom tune you could get something to work though.

  • i got the same blower as you do what boost are you seeing? check out my video

  • i have a 3.0 help me get a super charger or turbo in it i dont know where to find

  • Depending on the year of your 3.0L Whipple makes a kit that helps wake up the 3.0L They no longer make it so they are difficult to find though. They'll pop up on ebay from time to time.

  • thank you sir i will look for them

  • I'd guess it's making anywhere between 220-240whp.

  • yeah its the round thing...its called a centrifugal charger

  • How hard was this to do? Most people just put on an M90 supercharger. How much power is it making?

  • ok the dumbass has a question where was the charger lol was it the round thing cuz if that wat it was ive never seen 1 like that

  • most superchargers you see are positive displacement superchargers, but this one happens to be a centrifugal supercharger

  • I am going to put a Vortech on mine in a couple of days

  • damn thats pritty cool how fast that thing go

  • It goes pretty good. It's not insanely fast or anything though. I plan on adding a bunch more stuff to help it out a little bit.

  • Which model of the paxton supercharger is that because i cant find one that fits a 4.0... ??

  • Thats an older Paxton ball-drive supercharger, the last one they made was the NOVI GSS, SN2000, and before that the SN93, SN92, SN89,etc. That was the original Paxton SC before they came out with the NOVI 2000 gear drive. Paradise Wheels now owns the rights to that design. They come up on ebay alot. They use ATF that is self contained. Google PAxton ball drive or Paxton SN Supercharger maybe.

  • Yeah it's the SN92 unit. I bought the rebuild kit from Craig @ Paradise Wheels in California.
