  • I just love when I get a chance to look at myself when I was very little.... I was the smallest of the group I was like 4 and a half . And i started dancing when I was like 2 and I'm 10 now and I just love my studio it couldn't get any better the way it is :)

  • 3 people are mad 6 year olds can dance better than them

  • Great dancers, but they shouldn't be wearing just underwear...they're on stage...inappropriate.

  • is the orange couty in california or flordia????

  • California

  • here really really good and the dance is brilliant buh theres no way they should be wearing that sort or kinky outfits at that age its wrong buh yh dance was good =)

  • my sister and cousin both go to ocpaa and performed in this it was adorable.... and whoever are calling SIX YEAR OLD'S SLUTS..i think they should shut thier mouths...these girls are truely talented!

  • possibly the cutest dance i've ever seen!!!

  • do the foam fingers make my day? ......... OH YESSS , YESS THEY DOOOO

  • Ahhhh they are so cute and SUPER good!!! It gave me chills! keep working!

  • if those costumes are inappropriate then so are bikinis, it's the same thing. theyre not even being provocative. and i'm pretty sure we've all seen the stomachs of little kids before...its not a big deal. if you wouldn't do it fine but you don't have to be disrespectful and criticize their parents and like american culture? it's rediculous.

  • how do they get so good so young

  • how do you get the videos from hall of fame so that you can post them on youtube?

  • it is a stomach, chill

  • those four girls in the back are standing in the back for like a second it isnt that bad. and there costumes are not inapropriate i wore a bathing suit on stage because it was yellow polka dot bakini so you guys need to stop because it isnt that bad at all.

  • calm down. lighten up.

so they shoudn't wear bathing suits when they go to the beach?

america is a little too uptight about "showing" our bodies, if you ask me. this isn't even slutty. i dont understand some of you.

  • i think i saw them be cause i went

  • they r sooooooooo cute!! wat did they get?

  • it's a CHOREOGRAPHED dance people and the girls are wearing COSTUMES it's not like they go out everyday and dress and dance like that. It's fun and at least they're not on the streets causing trouble.

  • is jojo in this?

  • I feel like the children in this need more clothes or atleast a tan leotard under that the bellies should not be exposed poor judgment on teachers

  • The costumes are the very very least of my worries. They don't bother me at all! I respect everyone's opinions but, I just have to say, they do not pick their own costumes or dance moves so...they cannot control it you shouldn't be blaming them. But yet again...i respect everyone's opinions. Those girls are ADORABLE! Cute x 1000000!!! And not to mention, AMAZING dancing! Great great great job!

  • i go to ocpaa and its like the best dance studio ive ever been to

  • wow really who ever is getting worked up about the dancing and costumes? really its dancing its part of the style now, its modern. ive been dancing since i was 2, and im 14 now, and the style hasnt changed at all. since i can remember ive been put in 2 piece costumes and shaking and its not "provocative"

  • I personally find it rediculous that half of the dance these little 6 year olds are shaking a shimmying! I don't deny they are very talentet, but this is completely inapropriate. I wouldn't even take a dance this prevocative to a competition and i'm 17.

  • It's meant to be cute. My dance studio does the same thing

  • Why are the girls in the back doing nothingggg?

  • ok... you guys are all freaked out about how the girls in the back are getting as much attention! Well good for them!... this entire dance is a summary of just how inappropriate sociecty is to our children and how they expect them to grow up too fast and "flaunt it". Look what they're wearing... they are all darling little girls with amazing talent, they don't need to show it off in underwear.

  • ya me too. i would not wanna be the girls in the back whoever made this dance was not fair im tired of seein little girls get all the attention

  • no offense but I would hate to be the girls in the back. They do nothing!! Not one trick while the girls in the front do turns leaps and kicks!

  • those r some amazin 6 years old....and i love the foam fingers at the end lol!!

  • You can tell that the front row if girls is favorede over the girls in the back...

  • yeah so true. towards the end when like the 2 girls are doing their switch leaps and all of these other tricks, like 8 girls are doing something and the four girls are standing in the back doing nothing really. thats the bad side to dance

  • Yeah. It's not really fair to the people in the back.

  • probably cause their cuter and smaller

  • no. maybe because the girls in the back cant do a switch leap? and you haven't seen the other dances. how do you know that the girls from the back aren't in front in those dances. dont be so quick to judge and assume. and if the girls care who is getting more attention they are dancing for all the wrong reasons. its just for fun. haha.

  • this is the cutest dance ever. they also have the cutest costume ever. what company was it ordered from?( the costume)

  • okay so you guys have to be the cutest things i have ever seen! your costumes are fine i dont get it why people are complaining. i love the beginning when the blondie makes the face and is pretending to strangle herself. too cute =)

  • thats cute but a bit over age for them girlz

  • I love the dance, costume, girls, and song. You are so cute!!!! I can't belive it. I think the costumes are fine. It shows good body placement. The 5 year olds at my studio, helped pick out my classes costumes this year and it looked something like that, but it was blue and greenish. I love all of it. Gaw-geous!!

  • its not discusting. My mom will never let me wear that now because I am older. But when I was their age I could wear halter tops. Its just cutter on little kids without looking sluttish, because they don't have mature body parts. Not to sound discusting or anything. I am just making a point. Think about it they don't look like they are strippers.

  • That's true. I guess if they did it would look dishusting and slutty.

  • ya that's true. when ur young its fine to wear costumes like that as long as its not like a bra and they shake with it, THEN you can call it sluttish but this dance and costume in my opinion is ok but for older girls its just tastless.

  • ah.

    love their costumes.

    i love bows.

    omg im all over those.

the lil ones @ my studio have huge bows on their butts as well 4 their tap number. (=

  • how can u think its o.k 4 little kids to wear those? Its sick and wrong. Its completly sexualising them!

  • it would be one thing if they were doing sexual moves, but they're not. you obviously haven't been to a dance competition before.

  • Atually I have done ballet or seven years and I compete once a year but my mother would never let me on stage in that outfit. If Americans think it's alright to let little kids on stage in undies and bras and dance like that then i guess its your culture but i think its wrong.

  • listen, idk where you live, but i think its disrespectful to say that. and it shouldnt be your business, and i dont know who cares if u think its appropriate or not, because obviously these kids' parents let them wear that.

  • Oh so whatever the parents let them do it's ok? So its fine for parents to kill and abuse their kids?!

  • hahah. letting kids wear something is A LOT different than abusing them.

  • You are so slow. I meant u were saying that whatever parents think is o.k should go.

    geese

  • ok then..why is it ur business what they think is right. theyre not your kids...

  • ah.

    love their costumes.

    i love bows.

    omg im all over those.

the lil ones @ my studio have huge bows on their butts as well 4 their tap number. (=

  • oh, you're so cute girls !!!

And you dance very goodd !!!

  • Good Job Girls! They go to my dance studio, they also won 1st place in a national dance comotiton.

  • How can u teach them such a sick routine! :(

    Bad Bad BAD!

  • hey does anyone know if thats how the song sounded or if it got screwed up?

  • since i got cut off previously i had to delete a piece i wanted to add so here it is lol! ^_^

...those girls did very well for being six, hell they did better than most adult actors/dancers i know! i should know i work for a theatre company.....

  • omg! theyre sooo good!!! wow and theyre six???? are u sure? theyre so cute! kawaii! lol i cant believe the comments some people are posting theyre just little girls dancing for a legit competition! ugh self rightous people annoy the hell out of me! any ways i love these cuties i hope when i have kids they'll show an interest in theatre and dance....that is if theyre not already traumatised by my obssesions for cosplay, broadway, and martial arts.....lol i call that a well rounded kid....

  • Ok that makes since. Personnally I think this dance is fine but we all have our own opinions

  • Well, I appreciate your candor and wanting to rationalize the creative process with me but I guess we're just gonna have to disagree on the final outcome. The girls are very cute & talented but the chore & concept is, at the very least, riding a fine line. Every new generation finds a way to make the past generation cringe at their choices. My concern is of wondering where we are, inadvertently or not, headed. How high or low do we as teachers & parents want to set the bar? It's up to all of us.

  • First of all no I am not the choreographer. Second im gonna argue this rationally because you are. I understand where you are coming from. A dance does not have to be risque to be good. But there is nothing wrong with this. I looked up the lyrics to this song and there are only 4 lines that could even be semi considered risque...2 are cut out and the other two are not bad at all. Their dancing is clean and calm and they even changed the song so it is more age appropriate

  • Why do I care? Consider me a concientious observer. I'm not "trying to pull" anything. I just believe that the dir/chore's judgement was a poor choice for such a young age. I can't just change the channel and ignore what's going on here. The kids are just too young. If this is what "the dance world" has become then I will not support this particullar institution. Dance education is more then just "working it" to win a contest. Question to you, DancerBabe01: R you the one who put this together?

  • If you're gonna post this stuff on a public site then you better be ready to take the good with the bad."DancrBabe01" you said "slutty" & "prostitutes"-YOUR WORDS NOT MINE. The very fact that you chose those words tells me that you know darn well what direction this number pushes the envelope towards. It's just plain age inappropriate. How on earth is a 6 year old supposed to find the fine line between cutesy & tarty? They can barely add, let alone distinguish between nuance, innuendo and sexy

  • So go ahead find every video on youtube that shows any ounce of skin on a child and just keep complaining till you turn blue in the head. Why do you care anyway? If you guys are so against it just dont watch it. And if u want to see costumes that are much much worse just follow the links and just post your little hearts away about how "wrong this is" and how "their selling the children" and all the other crap you guys pull

  • There is nothing wrong with this video! It is a normal dance and if that surprises u...welcome to the dance world! Nothing in here is slutty, there 6!!!! I can promise you that the choreographer did not pick out the song or costume to show off the girls' bodies or make them act or seem like prostitutes. These dancers are also actors on stage and they know the difference between the stage and the real world.

  • The little girls' talent and dancing is not what's at question here. Of course they're not scared. Kids trust adults with their lives and are eager to please. What's questionable here are the adults in charge for their choice of song, costumes & choreography. The song is about "Flaunting It" and the chore supports that. There's no such thing as "just" a song or "just" dancing when it's been crafted & staged creatively. You outta know that "danceismypassion" Next time less crotch & more dance.

  • oh my goodnesss

i lovee this video our girls can work it

wow i cant believe some of these comments some people have left...ITS JUST A SONG! they are good little dancerss so just get over yourself!!!! they are not scared for life by dancing and it doesnt chnage they way the act they are just girls having fun doin what they love and in the dance world knowone cares bout how revealing or "innapropriate" the constume is..THEY ARE JUST DANCINNGG!!!!

    jeezzee

  • What is the matter with you people!? I saw 11 yr old girls doing this song and thought THAT was disturbing. Now these 6 year olds take the prize for most disturbing display of kiddie suggestiveness on youtube. You're off the mark, 'actressbehavior', a perverted person would not find this nasty. They would find it to their liking and would play it over and over until they've finally reached the big "O". That's the problem.Gratuitous bumps and grinds in skimpy constumes mean only one thing.

  • well said.

  • only a perverted person would thik this is nasty!!!

  • i love their dnace and costumes!! they are so cute!

  • Haha y do the audience have foam fingers ((At the end)) lol rather random.. any1 know?

  • they don't need to be more covered most girls that compete where stuff like that nowadays!!!!

  • wow!

  • very good for there age of 6

  • these girls are great... i agree... and they are young to be in competition but they sure are ready! great job girls!!!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! the ending was the best part it was like "EVERYBODY PUT UP THE FOAM FINGERS!!!!" yea i know a six year old who would love to be in this dance. she loves to shake!!!!! the costumes arent inappropriate if u think they are go to any dance competition and actually watch the dances they have 4 year olds dancing worse than this !!!! SOOOOOO CUTE GREAT JOB GIRLS!!!!!

  • this absolutely ahh-dorable...i love the dance and the costumes and the dancers!

  • they are adorable! i love the costumes!

  • Their really good!!Good job girlies!

  • that was insane good

  • they are good

  • i wish the 6 year olds at our studio could do that! heck, most of the 16 YEAR OLDS at our studio can't do that! they are amazing! and whoever says that this is inappropriate should really attend a dance competition soon, because this is what its all about, and not one part of it is inappropriate. Its actually one of the best things in the world! I wish I would have started competing when I was their age... and I wish I was that good at that age! lol :)

  • you girls are amazing!! Your only 6???!!!!!!!! Wow

  • that was cute ! i will say its a little inappropriate - but its not like the little girls are doing sexy moves. i bet that half of them don't even know what it means, it's nothing to a six year old.

  • woww umm this is competitive dancingg just to let you know this12345me!!!!

  • okay you guys are lame these girls are so cute and good dancers. they dont know what any of the words mean!! but good job girls!

  • that was so cute

  • oh please, this12345me, does your daughter even do competitive dancing?

  • they go to my studio!! aww i love you guys!!

    OCPAA BABY! :D

  • i just loved the foam fingers at the end.

  • I love the speeded up version!

  • ohmg thses girls are dancers and this is a dance the costumes are perfectly fine its not lik they go around walking down the street like that i'm a dancer and yu guys are crazy

  • i think its quite wrong having 6 year olds dancing to a song saying those type of things and in such revealing clothing, Some peadophile could be getting off on sumthin like that, the dance teachers & parents should be ashamed, what happened to childrens innocence, I am a child care worker in Australia and if i ever saw any of the children i look after being made to do sumthin like that i'd die.

  • oh please.

they're all >6. I seriously doubt they understand the song, they're teacher just told them to do it.

  • ok i dont know how yall do dance competitions in AUSTRAILIA but this is AMERICA this has nothing wrong with it maybe the teachers thought it would be cute. Ive danced my whole life and i see these kinds of things every month soooo dont judge people

  • they don't relieze what they are doing its done to be cute!!!cute! not to show that they are slutty!!! they are being ttly innocent!

  • i agree. its not the children's faults. its the teachers. and the parents should be upset that their children are being taught that this is okay and normal

  • OMG...IM IN THIS DANCE

  • yeah right! hahaha u liar

  • yeah right! a 6 year old having a youtube account? let alone a 6 year old even knowing about youtube......i dont beleive you

  • i am aware of that and imnot trying to change yours.

  • um... bbooboo do you even dance? cuz ive seen coments youve made on other dances, and they are all really rude!

  • Too Cute!!

  • haha i love how all the fingers go up in the audience at the end! lol

  • I luv this dance....

  • they're awesome !!

  • they are sooo cute

  • they remind me of ducks...don't know why they just do. but they are so talented and cute.

  • aww they go to my studio :]

  • i love this dance the girls are so adorable and talented
