We in Germany are big motorsport fans. And its great to see such a brilliant driver like Pastor Maldonado in the Formula 1.

Venezuela can be proud of this so talented driver I hope he is able to make a lot of points the Williams is a very good car but a few other teams are a little bit stronger like Red Bull and McLaren or Ferrari.

I hate to be cynical but Williams need 2 experienced drivers in my view they don't need pay drivers because the reason why they are midfeilders isn't a lack of money nor indeed is it the Cosworth engine Frank has said so himself it's aero; Hire a new aerodynamiscist Frank!

Counting out the Williams already? Sad, considering the team has a history of making winning cars, sometimes witha fraction of the budget the big teams use.

In 2010, Barrichello looked genuinely competitive in some races, and did you forget Nico Hulkenberg has pole in Brazil?

@McLarenMercedes historys the word my friend theres no doupt that williams has had massive success in the past but in recent years they have been sub par there no denieing it and to your point that Hulkenberg had a pole position so what Fisichella had a pole position in Spa. 2009 doesnt mean force india are compeating on the same level as Mclaren, Ferrari, red bull and Renault

A pole means the potential is there. Force India did show they have potential by taking pole.

I think Frank Williams should look for a successor or somebody who wishes to lead the team to its glory days.

Unlike many other teams Williams aren't too keen on letting factories run them. After what happened to Toyota, BMW and Honda who can blame him?
