There's nothing wrong with sampling. For example Massive Attack are one of my favouite artists and they sample just like everyone else in their genre. The bitterness comes when fans of Kanye think a piece like this was intended for his lyrics, when those who knew it originally have a different and arguably 'more genuine' connection with it. It's all good, I just prefer to listen to songs like this how the original artist intended.
