  • I have had bad breath, lost my job due to it. tried to find a new job but it's very hard once you stink up the office. I had tonsil stones and awful bad breath. My friend told me to check Oraltech Labs advice as it got rid of his bad breath and his post nasal drip. I've been following Oraltech Labs advice for about 4 months now and I feel much better, also people are not avoiding me anymore so it seems to have cured my bad breath as well.

  • @abbymercson

    Greetings!

Also try goggling one minute with one teaspoon of BLEACH with nine teaspoon of WATER mixture. Also use a tongue scrapper or a spoon to remove majority of smelly bacteria plaque that is caked on tongue, especially in the morning!

  • Can i use hydrogen peroxide every day?

  • @ku42

It's safe, when you mix it 50% water and 50% Hydrogen Peroxide, for daily use.

I highly recommend to use this solution with Water Pik to those who have history of periodontal gum disease :-)

  • i just gotta kaner sore on my gums i just hurts bad

  • @jmmm608

    Greetings!

Some people gets more sores in their mouth because of food debris left inside of their mouth somewhere after meals are rubbing against gums, cheeks, etc. Especially those who takes medications tend to have dry mouth. To prevent: rinse out with the water after each meals. Try warm salt water or Hydrogen Peroxide rinse to sooth pain. It should clear it up with in few days :-)

  • HELP! I GOT BLEEDING GUMS! :( HOW TO STOP IT WITHOUT GOING TO THE DENTIST? :( PLEASE HELP AND REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

  • @Siglap5

    Greetings!

Most people brush teeth instead of gums...where is the bleeding coming from? Please watch "Electric toothbrushes 101" use same technique with a manual toothbrush then 90% of bleeding and hurting will go away within 2-3 days! Make sure to floss "Flossing 101" first even it hurt to clean out food debris/slimy plaque that are under gums acting as splinter under your skin!! Let me know how you are doing... :-)

  • Hiya, Thanks for the advice it has helped a lot. Just a quick up date and question. No bleeding, brushing with electric tooth brush and flossing regularly. I found the hydrogen peroxide very good but after a while it left a fungal type infection on my tongue. So I currently use a antibacterial mouthwash in the evening after brushing and a salt water mouthwash in the morning after brushing. Will a salt mouth wash kill backteria? Excellent video and advice, Thanks.

  • @goodchap1971

    Greetings

FYI-Hydrogen peroxide is not for long term use (1-2 weeks only until bleeding is gone). To have healthy teeth and gums 1) Floss first to clean out food 2) Rinse vigorously with antimicrobial mouthrinse or 50/50 of water and H. peroxide 3) Brush (Gum & Teeth!) mindfully each area for 5x.

Salt will not kill the bacteria nor do you want to be free of it unless you want to live in a bubble. Bacteria in our mouth are good...just not too much! Nice to hear from you (:

  • my wisdom teeth are coming in and im 18 is it possible my gums are bleeding a tiny bit because my wisdom teeth are coming in??

  • @akakonya

    Greetings!

The cause of bleeding could be related to erupting wisdom teeth. However, to be sure, floss or brush your teeth without toothpaste then look around to see where the bleeding is coming from. Bleeding in the mouth means open blood vessels for 400+ bacteria in your mouth to spread throughout your body. To stop the bleeding - brush the BLEEDING GUM AREA not the teeth!

    Enjoy your Healthy Smile!

  • After I floss, one of my tooth hurts bad and I feel pressure on the tooth. It doen't bleed but painful.Does it indicate anything?

  • @jaypee509

    Greetings!

If pain is sharp then it's tooth related (seek a dentist) and dull pressure pain means a gum problem. Some times popcorn kernels get under the gum tissue and it's hard to clean it out. Effective flossing is very important try Youtube's "Flossing 101" technique. Do let me know things work out..

  • Greetings!

The bad breath/bleeding is often caused by years of tartar build up that leads to irritation, which leads to severe gum infection (ex:like splinters under skin). Your gums will not heal, even though the bleeding goes away (90+%) with flossing, brushing, oil pulling, and use of baking soda, (or The MmouthSoap!) until the tartar on your teeth under your gums is cleaned out thoroughly.

  • Hi,

I agree, A thorough cleaning is paramount initially. Thereafter, it is imperative to obtain the correct formula to ensure that your teeth and gums stay healthy. A healthy diet is fundamental in ensuring prolonged health combined with cleaned teeth facilitate re-mineralization from nutrients in the diet/saliva and gums are encouraged to strengthen.

  • Greetings!

Yes, healthy diet will ensure healthy teeth. Ex: avoiding acid rich beverages. However, remineralizing enamel surface can be achieved many ways. One of the examples is use of product containing Xylitol sugar (do search & read). Strengthening gums can be accomplished by massaging gum w/toothbrush or rubber tip for 5 sec each area. As for your Mouthsoap what is the ingredients/formular? Tom wrote ..Money I spent on a product that did not work. Luckily it had a 1 year guarantee.

  • Agreed, You do need to avoid acidic beverages etc. You can obtain a mouth swish that helps to neutralise the acid and restore the PH balance. In addition to xylitol which should ALWAYS be used instead of sugar, its imperative to take a Vit C supplement to restore any damaged tissue and to take CQ10 or Ubiquinol. Not all products are the same, research and trial and error have enabled to me to find one that DOES work. Thanks

  • Greetings!

I went to your website to find the MouthSoap's formula to know the ingredients but it was unsuccessful. Could you tell us what's in it?

    Thank you for sharing ;D

  • Hi, thanks for the advice. Still a bit of bleeding. Improving my oral hygene so hopefully time will heal. I am hopeful.

A question I have a permanent dental bridge. With a metal base to it, you can see about half a milimetre of the metal. Will the salt and hydrogen peroxide damage the metal in the bridge? Thanks in anticipation, will keep you informed.

  • Some additional information, which hopefully clear up my bleeding gums. I have been taking pain killers, solpadol, and a side effect is........... Bleeding gums! so I will stop taking the pain killers and hopefully the bleeding will stop along with good oral hygine. Thanks

  • Greetings!

FYI - the baking soda is little abrasive to clean off slimy plaque well & hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria on contact & disinfecting results in frosty & foamy (this is why only use 3x week only). As for the pain killer, they usually cause dry mouth (but bleeding gum?). Do floss then brush (gum & teeth) 5x each area and follow with coconut oil pulling for 5 minutes. The bleeding will stop within 2-3 days. let me know how you are doing..

  • How does the mixture of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and salt help with bleeding gums? I have tried it just now and it makes the mouth white and frothy. What is the science behind the mixture? Thanks. I hope it works.

  • First of all i am grateful for this info, Ive had quad scaling and root planing and its so painful, expensive, I traveled far away for a covered periodontist, I just cant do it ! So symptoms have returned. Bad taste on gums, bleeding.. Worst of all I believe my 2 year old (who loves to kiss) is showing symptoms of bad breath as well. I started using your rinse for bleeding and bad breath from the website for myself, is there anything safe for a baby to help stop this? I appreciate any info TY

  • @luvdainfo32

    Greetings!

If you've been flossing & brushing with the mixture by now 90% of bleeding is gone, swelling is down, have sensitive teeth(use Sensodyne), right? 2 more weeks of healthy habits then do the scaling (much less post-op pain) tartar build up under gums are like splinter under skin that need to cleaned out for gums to get healthy. As for your kid, brush his teeth thoroughly for him with my technique..it should clear up within 2-3 days. Keep me post it how you are doing..

  • Hi, this very morning, my gums were all covered with plaque and it was red, everywhere. So i brushed it and my gums were a little pink again but its bleeding, is there a way to fix it? I think the cause of this problem was when i skipped brushing my teeth a for 2 days. Its swollen now and im very worried.

  • Greetings!

All day you eat many different kinds of food..give a good cleaning at night. Old plaque & food left between teeth irritates gums & that's why gums bleeds! Bleeding is an early sign of gum infection (contagious!)

Also, bleeding means there are open blood vessels for germs from your mouth to spread all over your body! Have you heard of..."Floss or Die!" ? Please read the comments I wrote on this page to help yourself stop bleeding & for Healthy Oral Habits! Let me know...

  • hello i dont floss just brush

i was eating beef jerky some of it got stuck on my teeth then i woke up and i saw that the gums are red

  • Hi

I have always had swollon gums, but a 3 days ago I got sick with a fever and I am now taking pills. My doctor said it could be a few things, but now my gums are in pain and bleed whenever I brush my teeth. Is it possible I am sick from my gums and will my pills stop the more swelling in my gums? And even if I am in alot of pain should I floss?

  • Greetings! Yes, on going gum infection can cause a fever and make you sick. Ex: What is the first thing a Vet do to a sick dog? Look inside of dog's mouth! If your pills are antibiotics then yes it will help but you must keep it clean (even if it hurts and bleeds) by flossing and brushing to get better.

    My suggestions:

    1. Try Coconut oil to clean out infection

    2. Mixture of baking soda/hydrogen peroxide/salt 3X a week.

Follow all above..bleeding will stop in 2-3 days!

    Let me know...

  • tom22isthebest (wrote on 9/25/091)

    Thank you so much.

It's been going great, and all the tips you gave me have worked. My gums barely bleed anymore and I'm not in pain anymore.

    Thanks again TLC!

  • Greetings! Thank you for your support! I can't believe how fast this happened after years of suffering. I had years of breath issues and bleeding. The rinsing of peroxide and baking soda that I felt in my gums and teeth was a miracle. The swelling went down and I can now floss easier! There is still slight bleeding.. I don't expect to fix years of problems but I have to honestly say there is a tremendous improvement after 2 days with positive signs in day 1. Thanks TLC!!!

  • Hi,

I have bleeding in my mouth from one particular side, i,e from the gums...I have contacted the dentist and she said nothing is wrong with my teeth or gums. She said just to brush regularly and floss .

she said there is no medicine to control it. Can someone else because it really causes bad breath. Please help.

  • Greetings!

Your gums bleed for several reasons: 1) Possible food impaction under gums = try suggested "Effective Flossing 101 and Brushing Techniques" posted on this text comments. 2) Bad breath indicates severe gum infection = swish w/one table spoon coconut oil for 5 minutes to pull out toxin (make sure don't swallow) 3) To stop the bad breath = mix one teaspoon of baking soda + hydrogen peroxide + sprinkle of salt in paste constancy and brush only 3X a week.

Let me know how you are doing.

Subject: RE: i need help my gums is bleeding. it been a year now my gums been bleeding off an on. what should i do? Ken G.

    -------- Part: one

Greetings from TLC for Healthy Smiles!

To stop the bleeding gums try this new brushing technique:

    1. Get a soft toothbrush (no toothpaste!)

    2. Cheek side: Have toothbrush 45 degree angle toward to gums

    3. Do gentle circular motion (each area 5X)

    4. Tongue side: Hold toothbrush up side down

  • 5. Put tip of toothbrush in between teeth & wiggle 6. Must include gums when brushing 7. To clean plague & massage gums 8. In sequence not to miss any areas 9. Do it for 5 minutes while watching T.V. 10. It will bleed lot at first but less there after 11. Most importantly, need to FLOSS daily! 12. Watch "Flossing 101" in YouTube 14. Bleeding will go way in few days Ex: What would you do if you had a cut in your hand? Keep it clean to get better, right! Enjoy Healthy Smiles!.
  • ok and thanks for the information =-) i will contact you and my son gum is getting better thx

  • can i ask you? my son teeth in the inside when he brush his teeth theres blood coming out then he saw some yellow things stuff to his teeth what should he do he scared to go to the dentist

  • Hi,

I'm sorry it took awhile to respond.

The yellow stuff could have been days-old food. Have him floss effectively (by watch "Flossing 101" on my website) and place the toothbrush in between the teeth circular motion including gums. ( I'll have "Brushing 101" video soon) Do have him rinse with warm salt water or use of Listerine. Within 3-5 days the bleeding will go away... through Healthy Habits it will cure it. Please let me know how he is doing.

  • his okay now but when he brush and brush and put on cold water. then the bleeding stop he brush hard but no blood came out and thx for the advice your the best! are you a teeth profesional?

  • I'm glad your son is doing better. Do tell him to brush softly & massage the gums -hard brushing can do lots of damage to his teeth & gums. Example: when washing hands covered with dirt, to clean it off, always use a soft toothbrush - it's gentle circular motion & thoroughness do the best job with least amount of damage to the skin & finger nails! Do go to the dentist if you haven't had a exam & cleaning for awhile. It's like an oil change to have a dependable car, "the prevention".

  • You must take him to the dentist as soon as possible.
