its more to do with the hypocrisy that is politicians. Palin, who is VERY against alcohol, spoke at a wine/alcohol sales convention for money. alcohol kills people on a daily basis and has killed more people than marijuana ever has since the dawn of time. she did, however, refuse to speak at a NSML's event to discuss possible ways to control/legalization of a harmless plant, which has killed zero people since the dawn of time.

in short didytom, its just EVEN MORE PROOF that politicians are only looking out for #1 and could care less about the interests of the ppl that got them into office. you can drink all the poison alcohol you want and the gov't indorses it, yet a harmless, non-lethal plant is still illegal b/c of the greed of some companies (big pharma, prisons) and the greed of the gov't

To answer your question though, the only thing this has to do with legalization of marijuana, and thats if u want to count this, is to just point out hypocrisy and greed really. Politicians will support alcohol, a poison with NO medical value and yet, a non-lethal plant that CAN cure cancer and has the most medical potential in the world is illegal. Thats what I got out of this video anyways...

@zozma38 Whoa there buddy. There haven't any studies that show causal links between cancer recovery & marijuana. 1st of all, the term "cancer" covers a wide range of cell conditions. 2nd of all, your "studies" would be considered unethical in most states.

However, I've read statistical studies that have shown ethanol put to good use when kept in small amounts.

I find alcohol supporters who disapprove of alcohol to be kinda ironic..

Because part of the reason why people do marijuana, is because they tried alcohol, decided it wasn;t their thing, but see the double standard there (at least for me)

So if we were to lower the number of marijuana consumers, we would also have to live in a society that frowns upon alcohol consumption
